What We're Looking For
Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (ability to obtain PE license required).
4+ years of AutoCAD design experience.
Strong knowledge of fire and life safety codes (IFC, IBC, NFPA 101, NFPA 72, NFPA 70, NFPA 400).
Hands-on experience with fire alarm systems, VESDA, security, CCTV, HPM, and leak detection.
Experience with design and construction specifications, cost estimating, and project scheduling.
Preferred:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Process Engineer to support Ion Implantation and Rapid Thermal Processing (RTP) operations in our 200mm High-Volume Manufacturing fab. The Implant and RTP Process Engineer will work closely with Equipment Engineering to develop and sustain ion implant processes on our Axcelis GSD, VHE and Purion M implanters, along with RTP processes on our AMAT RTP and AG RTP toolset. Additionally, the Implant & RTP process engineer will work with engineers from other modules and our quality teams to identify and address defect and yield issues.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Own, sustain, and continuously improve Ion Implantation and RTP processes in the 200mm fab.
Maintain robust process control using SPC and statistical analysis to ensure stability and high equipment uptime.
Lead yield improvement, cost reduction, and cycle time optimization efforts across assigned toolsets.
Support process development, new product introductions (NPI), and engineering change implementations.
Work cross-functionally with integration, equipment, quality, and production teams to resolve process-related issues.
Disposition of discrepant material, including troubleshooting/diagnosis of cause and implementation of preventative actions.
Drive tool qualifications, recipe development, and parameter optimization across various implant species and annealing regimes.
Interface with tool vendors for upgrades, troubleshooting, and technical evaluations.
Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best-known methods (BKMs) and documentation.
Cross training in additional modules to provide back-up coverage as needed.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
BS/MS/PhD in physics, electrical engineering, material science, chemical engineering or other related discipline.
5+ years Ion Implantation and/or RTP experience required. Experience with Axcelis implanters, AMAT and AG RTP toolset preferred. Knowledge of interaction with CMP is a plus.
Proven experience with device physics and implantation & RTP requirements. Experience with power MOSFET/Trench MOSFET a plus.
Experience with SPC and automated data collection/analysis.
Hands-on experience with 200mm implant and RTP toolsets; Axcelis (GSD/VHE/Purion), Applied Materials RTP and AG RTP preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work with people one on one and in a team environment.
Strong analytical skills and familiarity with DOE, FMEA, 8D, and root cause analysis techniques.
Experience with MS Office. Minitab/JMP or other software skills a plus.
