Lead maintenance cost reduction and reliability improvement projects as required.
Perform FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) on all changes to maintenance tactics (PM's).
Manage a formal ongoing PMO (Preventative Maintenance Optimization) program.
Facilitate/lead root cause failure analysis as required, using relevant systematic RCA techniques. Identify and support the implementation of resultant corrective actions ensuring all analyses and activities are appropriately documented.
Alert the Maintenance and Operations Foremen to situations of equipment abuse and operations practices which induce failures, reduces reliability or increases the equipment maintenance cost.
Provide technical guidance to the maintenance and operations departments on equipment and reliability issues and technologies.
Work with peers at other company operations to collaborate and share good practices across the group.
Remain abreast of current and new technologies applicable to the Mine and champion those that will benefit the operation.
Cultivate productive partnerships with key OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) to drive improvement in equipment performance and reliability.
Work with purchasing, engineering, and operations to ensure equipment reliability is considered throughout all planning, equipment procurement and changes, spare part selection and inventory control.
Develop, adapt and publish Standards and Guidelines that improve equipment reliability, including but not limited to areas such as PM, equipment procurement, inventory parts, installation, and work execution.

Your Job Our Caldwell, Idaho manufacturing facility is currently seeking qualified individuals for our Process Engineer position. This role has the primary responsibility of developing and optimizing manufacturing processes, equipment and tooling for new and existing fiber optic assembly products.

What You Will Do
Develops, modifies, and validates manufacturing processes for new and existing product
Automates, designs and validates jigs, tools and fixtures for use in production areas
Teaches new techniques, processes and technologies to production personnel
Troubleshoot product design & product assembly methods
Troubleshoot equipment problems. Analyze mechanical or process problems and take corrective action within scope of responsibilities. Hands-on approach to troubleshooting and diagnosis of equipment operations problems, make adjustments, replace component parts, and arrange for external repairs
Maintain accurate and complete records of assigned engineering projects
Develop and write process and equipment operating procedures
Participates in or leads special projects, new programs and technology transfers
Understand, support and contribute to current Molex Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, and/or Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Physics
One (1) year or more engineering experience
What Will Put You Ahead
Programming experience using Python
Two (2) years or more in product process development/support role for fiber optic assemblies
Experience with the design of experiments and statistical process control
