What You'll Do: Act as process owner for metal additive manufacturing Support the commissioning and operation of additive manufacturing equipment Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, checklists, and safety protocols for additive manufacturing Responsible for establishing process flow to meet production rate and quality goals Track machine utilization and drive reductions in planned and unplanned downtime Develop and implement statistical process control into production processes to further improve reliability and reduce cost and lead time Optimize process parameters (laser, gas flow, thermal, powder spreading, etc.) Conduct post print review of hardware Provide AM process expertise to the Engineering team to help drive continuous improvement and successful AM build strategies.
