Responsibilities

Champion Lean culture within the organization by training, mentoring, and engaging team members at all levels.
Evaluate new equipment and technologies; develop business cases and support capital projects from concept through implementation.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards in all process engineering activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
2+ years of experience in process or manufacturing engineering, preferably in a high-volume assembly environment.
Knowledge of assembly tooling, fixtures, and workstations.
Proficiency in using engineering tools such as AutoCAD/SolidWorks, Excel (advanced), and statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab).

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Implements and sustains BDPS work process for the manufacturing unit.
* Identifies critical equipment setting and creation of standards.
* Creates technical knowledge for the manufacturing unit and transfers the knowledge to the operator and technical associates.
* Coaches associates on continuous improvement methodologies within the manufacturing unit.
* Understands top losses within the manufacturing unit and develops and implements plans to eliminate losses and drive OEE performance.
* Responsible for manufacturing unit change control including validation activities, root cause analysis of prioritized OEE losses, and quality events and deviations.
* Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.
