Design, build, and evolve our CI/CD solutions, writing clean, scalable code to automate the entire build, test, and deployment lifecycle.
Architect and develop robust, scalable test automation frameworks that product teams will use for load, integration, and functional testing.
Write software to abstract and automate infrastructure provisioning, creating a seamless, self-service experience for engineering teams using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

The hiring range for this position in New York is $120,300 to $161,300 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.

The Quality Engineer responsible for developing and improving the manufacturing processes surrounding the production of Pulp and Paper products and providing leadership for associates assigned to support quality and process monitoring.
Duties and responsibilities
The primary job duties and responsibilities are:
· Works with management, technicians and operators to continually improve manufacturing processes (Decrease cycle times/optimize production, maximize throughput rate, increase product quality, and minimize scrap) and troubleshooting processing problems.
· Creates and maintains accurate engineering/process documentation such as molding specifications, Process Flow diagrams, Process Failure Modes and Effects Analyses (PFMEAs), etc.
· Establishes set-up and processing parameters based on material, machine capabilities.
· Develops molding procedures to ensure consistent processing of product on all shifts.
· Monitors and reviews daily production efficiencies with Production Manager on machine/process to ensure consistent processing.
· Performs specified design of experiments and establish capability studies.
· Participates in documenting capital equipment justification.
· Oversees the lab & process technicians, testing results, procedures, and overall quality program.
· Monitors and coordinates responses to quality concerns from internal and external sources.
· Manages and coordinates the NSF audit and GMP standards for the plant.
· Immediately addresses and reports safety issues or hazards.
· Maintains excellent safety record.
· Maintains excellent attendance record.
· Pick up the Quality Leadership supporting our NSF Food Safety & HACCP Programs.
· Cover the internal performance management system/ OPX 360 requirements for 2.0 Quality and for 5.0 Continuous Improvement.
· Work as a Business Partner with the Unit Manager in Operations.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience required:
· Three or more (3+) years of experience in a manufacturing environment; including successful completion of jobs or similar activities requiring control of a mechanical process and inspection of product to meet quality standards.
· Three or more (3+) years of experience managing and leading direct reports in a manufacturing environment or relevant experience.
· Must have Continuous Improvement experience
· SPC Gain Seeker experience
· Food Safety / GMP experience highly desired.
· Paper science or paper making experience highly desired.
· Must have management/supervisory experience.
Skills
An individual must have the following skills in the Quality Engineer position:
· Must have analytical skills and proven leadership effectiveness.
· Experience and/or working knowledge of Solid Works and AutoCAD is a plus.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

About the role
The Reliability Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and optimal performance of manufacturing equipment. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining reliability strategies to reduce downtime, increase equipment availability, and optimize the performance of critical assets. The Reliability Engineer will lead efforts in Preventive Maintenance (PM) optimization, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and continuous improvement initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the overall maintenance and reliability strategy.
Role Responsibilities
* Preventive Maintenance (PM) Optimization: Responsible for reliability of production equipment on site and Reliability KPIs, (MTTR) and (MTBF).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Establish and execute monthly vibration routes; collect and analyze vibration data from all key equipment at New York Operations facilities.

Roles and Responsibilities
The Quality & Process Engineer will:
Functionally own all aspects of Quality including but not limited to:
Development of Quality planning for each Customer unit.
Quality defect documentation and issue resolution.
Track and trend Quality defects, and lead projects to reduce or eliminate.
Final Quality documentation package completeness for New Units and Services Parts orders.
Maintain both Quality Assurance and Quality Control of products, manufacturing processes and sourced components within the Cell. Maintain all process documentation, training matrices, and methods instructions.
Be accountable for all Cell Quality KPI's (Severe Events, Escapes, and CoPQ), and develop strategies for improvement. Provide the Quality updates at all Cell QMR's and reviews.
Proficient use of Quality systems (Power Now, Fiori, BMS, eSMS, Documentum).
Participate in Root Cause investigations and develop Corrective and Preventative Actions for identified Quality issues (using HOP's, 8D RCA, PFMEA, Quality Control Planning, and PSR's).
Perform Internal Audits, and document and resolve Audit findings. Represent Cell during ISO 9001 and AS 9100 Audits.
Act as the liaison between the Factory and Sourcing, Engineering, and Customer representatives to quickly resolve Quality issues.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing or quality position or relevant military experience).
Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing quality role.

Essential Functions
Department rep for FAT and SAT Documentation Completed (Engineering owns)
Works in parallel with Project Engineering, ensuring user requirements are appropriately identified and integrated. Coordinates the documentation of FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing).
Accurate, Up-to-Date SOP's
Leads the SOP biennial review process by actively managing procedural updates and driving cross-functional collaboration to accurately reflect the current state process requirements and meet due dates. Manages tracking system to ensure effective communication on status of SOP updates.
Operations Business Fundamentals
Ensure costs are correctly identified, communicated, costed to appropriate cost centers, and approvals are obtained from appropriate area owners and/or clients (as needed). Works with Focus Factory Manager, Sr. and/or Principal Process Engineer, and Project Engineering to develop project scope and cost details for capital budget preparation. Provide technical support and problem resolution in support of routine daily production, Safety, Quality Compliance, and schedule adherence.
New Product Launch Facilitated in Department
Assist in the successful creation and on time completion of documentation and implementation of new processes and product transfers in the assigned department.
Production Processes Managed
Conducts reviews and approvals of equipment, product, and process validation documents and cleaning validation documents. Monitors, tracks, and trends production and changeover cycle times (OEE), equipment downtime, and identifies and implements improvements to processes using continuous improvement methods. Performs annual review and updates to Bill of Material (BOM) routers as needed based on changes to process cycle times. Manages and tracks equipment inventory, removal and return to service processes. Ensures that processes comply with all cGMP regulations regarding process and cleaning validation. Completes exception investigations, identifies and implements effective corrective and preventative actions to prevent recurrence. Regular participation in daily production operations meetings and team problem solving efforts. Works with plant safety to maintain and improve process specific safety requirements and information. Assist in developing training programs and/or SOPs to enhance skills sets and reduce defects. Support Customer or Regulatory agency audits as the subject matter expert for assigned processes. Candidate may also have to assist in production efforts when necessary.
Minimum Requirements
Education
BS degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering or Packaging Engineering/Technology or related field preferred. Solid knowledge of chemistry, physics and engineering principles.
Experience:
Minimum of 1-3 years of related solid dose production experience. Experience with manufacturing or packaging processes.
