This Kubernetes Site Reliability Engineer position will design and provision infrastructure supporting cloud native applications alongside a geographically distributed team. Emphasis will be on container strategies and ecosystem (Kubernetes) supporting Ford's rapidly increasing data and compute requirements. These environments will be both multi-cloud (GCP, Azure) and within our on-premise datacenters. The Reliability Engineer will be responsible for improving the reliability, maintainability, and performance of manufacturing and utility systems in a GMP-regulated environment. This role focuses on identifying and mitigating risk to ensure equipment uptime, regulatory compliance, and efficient asset lifecycle management. The Reliability Engineer will lead root cause analyses, predictive maintenance strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and manage a plant-wide asset reliability program aligned with GMP and FDA regulatory standards.
