In this intermediate-level production welding role, you'll play an important part in high-volume manufacturing, helping produce consistent, high-quality products that keep operations running smoothly. With limited supervision and support from experienced team members, you'll set up and weld parts using standard fixtures, positioners, and turntables, relying on strong hand-eye coordination to create dependable welds. You'll work with materials such as steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other alloys, using established welding processes including MIG, TIG, stick, gas, or submerged arc welding. This role involves fabricating large fuel tanks-up to 60 feet long and 13 feet wide-designed to hold 3,000 to 10,000 gallons of diesel fuel. The welder must ensure strict adherence to safety standards by wearing required PPE and following all safety guidelines throughout the process.
