Reliable was founded by Dan Jape in 1978 and the principles that drove Reliable's success are still very much the heart and soul of the company today.
The company incorporated on March 20, 1980.
In 1990 Reliable Heating and Cooling and Lennox Industries teamed up together to bring our customers the most recognized name and the finest product line available to our industry.
Reliable Heating and Air, LLC is led by its founder, Christopher Hosch, who formed this fast-growing company in 2001 with a mission to treat each customer with honesty, trust and excellence.
In 2002 Reliable Heating and Cooling moved to a larger, state of the art building located at 515 26th St SE in Massillon to better serve our customers.
As of January 2010 the refrigerant R-22 (what consumers call Freon®) is no longer allowed to be used in the manufacturing of new equipment.
In 2010, Reliable expanded their offerings to customers by hiring state-licensed master plumbers, electricians, and duct cleaners.
