Doug received his Juris Doctor degree from the Dickinson School of Law at Penn State University and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences at the University of North Dakota. His passion for aviation extends to his personal interests as a licensed commercial pilot and Certified Flight Instructor.

As Chief Business Officer for Reliable Robotics, I am focused on identifying opportunities where automated aircraft can best serve industry. I am responsible for expanding our go-to-market strategy, building the commercial organization and lines of business, as well as managing relationships with our customers and partners. I have been an investor and advisor in the travel, transportation and logistics industries for over 20 years. From 2004 to 2019 I was a Partner and Managing Director at the Seabury Group, the leading consulting, restructuring and investment banking firm specialized in the aviation, aerospace and logistics sectors. Seabury Group is best known for performance improvement, turnarounds, distressed workouts and many of the largest aircraft acquisitions in recent history. I was part of the original core leadership team that built Seabury's consulting business in 2004, and I established Seabury’s business in Asia-Pacific based out of Hong Kong from 2008 to 2017. Seabury's partners completed a sale of its corporate advisory and consulting businesses to Accenture in 2017, and after the acquisition I worked as a Managing Director of Seabury Consulting within Accenture's Travel & Hospitality Practice until 2019.Prior to joining Seabury, I was a consultant at Bain & Company and worked across the aviation, telecommunications, banking, insurance and mining industries.
