Specific Duties: * Identifies, implements, and tracks cost reduction activities for trucking related issues. * Coordinate shipping and trucking companies and prepare shipment paperwork, including Customs documentation for all PCC customers. * Prepares labels, waybills, export declarations, certifications, special attachments, government forms, BOL. * Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons * Prepare final outgoing shipments including weighing, quantity, verification, banding, commercial documents, and loading on to common carrier trucks * Track and provide PODs to customers/vendors * Proactively communicates issues, shortages, or problems to Operations Manager, indirect purchasing, and/or Customer Services Representatives; * Track inventory on shipping containers and supplies * Determine method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates * Invoice customer shipments as needed * Maintain inventory of dock supplies - corrugated container/miscellaneous dock supplies * Monitor forklift daily checks and report any findings * Monitor truck traffic to align with business needs. * Organizes work for smooth operations.
