In my current position as Project Manager in the Department of Patient Experience, I lead projects under the direction of designee. I’ve facilitated patient centered trainings and am closely involved in many Quality and Patient Safety works here at UMass Memorial. Recent accomplishments include receiving a 2013 Champions of Excellence Award for Integrative Care and Quality, involved in the 2014 Joint Commission Accreditation, Planetree (patient centered care) facilitator certification, Lean: Black Belt certificate, and Crucial Conversations. Other projects and programs include:

• Leading a Black Belt Lean project.

• PM for Patient Family Advisory Council, acting as liaison between 7 different councils.

• Leading a team to develop a patient education portal to promote best practices.

• Started up and currently manage Caring Talents program; music and art for patients and families

• Coordinated events for Patient Centered Care Awareness Month

• Managed several in-house newsletters.

• Overseeing multiple team Sharepoint sites, updating internal and external webpages

• Wrote and directed a service excellence training video

• Implemented creative signage to promote quiet at night on inpatient units

In my other positions at UMass Memorial, I contributed to a culture of caring because I built trusting relationships and valued my interactions with the patients, families and staff.
