About the Role
As a Sales Executive you will promote nursing curriculum materials and electronic products to nursing health professional and higher education institutions. You will utilize solution based selling techniques to demonstrate the full value of Elsevier's digital products including Hesi, Sherpath, Adaptive Quizzing, Simulations and ebooks/books. This sales role is fully remote and virtual. You will have assigned accounts with established customers as well as new account leads. The territory serves customers in Tennessee and Kentucky and candidates should reside within the territory.
Responsibilities
Developing sales in assigned territory, including customer service, sales presentations, negotiation and training on both print and digital products
Driving successful implementation and adoption of the solution portfolio for the customers in your territory.
Acting as a trusted advisor to Higher Education and C-suite professionals. Providing in-depth product training, support and guidance directly aligned to the curriculum.
Creating and delivering compelling presentations on Elsevier's suite of products and how they can create the a robust classroom experience.
Tracking sales pipeline, leads, and sales cycle using Salesforce.com
Requirements
Demonstrate experience with sales in technology, higher education or healthcare/publishing
Possess a proven track record of B2B sales success
Possess excellent communication and presentation skills
Demonstrate a track record of successful customer engagement and driving customer adoption
Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record are required (Motor vehicle check required).

• Utilize CRM system to track client communications, develop and maintain sales pipeline.

• Work collaboratively with regional sales representatives at Reagan when the demand for the national inquiry was driven by regional relationships.
• Support the President and SM's in the development of budgets relating to the national revenue for the organization.
• Maintain a high level of visibility throughout the advertising community at large.
• Attend annual OAAA/GeoPath national conventions to stay on top of industry trends and to
network with partner agencies.
• Travel with GSM to NYC, Chicago, LA and other agency locations, typically 3-4 total trips per year. (These trips were suspended during COVID, but we hope to resume when appropriate.)
Qualifications
Qualified candidates must:
• Have prior, verifiable success in national / inside advertising sales or sales coordination.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Have prior experience collaborating with multiple teams (for example Client Direct Marketing Team, Creative Agency, Production Agency, Buying Agency).
• Have strong communication skills. Welcomes the opportunity to call clients and agencies to

• Be proficient in Excel, and a master of spreadsheets.

Combination of Inside and Outside Sales:
Work directly with Owners, Marketing Managers and Sales Managers to help market and grow their businesses.

What will you do?
BGS are responsible for following up on warm leads who are part of our manufacturer relationships and converting them into customers. You will reach out to prior and potential clients to increase participation with our digital and direct marketing products.
Successful candidates possess strong outside sales skills (and even better inside sales skills) such as:
Communication, confidence, resilience and can easily develop rapport with clients, resulting in the ability to close multiple deals and make more money than ever before!
You will continuously prospect prior and potential clients with social media, email, and cold calling.
Training:
Learn from the best in the business and from people who care about your success. You will receive comprehensive classroom and ongoing sales performance training with a dedicated Sales Manager. You will learn our 5 Steps to Success, mastering each step with help from your manager before moving on to the next. We help you achieve a high level of success through consistent 1-on-1 sales development as well as team learning opportunities.
Qualifications
Experience, Competencies, and Education:
EXCEL at engaging new clients through referrals, social media, email, cold calling and networking.

Base Salary + UNCAPPED commissions with NO LIMIT on what you can earn.
Start earning $100,000 or much higher as early as your second year.
