About the Role
The Customer Success Go-To-Market (GTM) Manager serves as the critical interface between the Customer Success, Product, and GTM teams. This individual contributor role ensures that customer insights, adoption trends, and success metrics are directly embedded into product launch activities, both new and updates, commercialization plans, and market strategies. The role enhances alignment across Product, Marketing, and Customer Success, enabling Elsevier to deliver greater customer value, accelerate product adoption, and drive retention and growth.
Responsibilities
Serving as the primary Customer Success liaison into Product and GTM planning, representing customer needs and adoption insights in launch and roadmap discussions.
Partnering with Product Managers, Product Marketing, and GTM teams to design and execute launch plans that drive customer adoption and retention.
Working closely with the CS Management Teams and SME/CSMs to ensure that information is flowing back to them for input and action when necessary.
Contributing to pilot and early access programs with selected customers, capturing feedback and translating insights into scalable improvements
Collaborating with Support and Customer Success teams to identify friction points and recommend proactive, AI-enabled solutions that deflect tickets and improve customer experience.
Developing and maintaining enablement of resources, including onboarding content, adoption of playbooks, and success guides tailored to new product features.
Analyzing product usage and customer health data to identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement and feeding those insights back into GTM function to impact planning and future launch activities.
Contributing to roadmap and product decisions through customer-derived evidence, ensuring the voice of the customer shapes product strategy.
Communicating adoption of performance, customer feedback, and success metrics to cross-functional leadership on a regular basis.
Requirements
Have 5+ years of experience in Customer Success, Product, or Go-To-Market roles within a SaaS, data, or technology environment.
Display proven ability to collaborate effectively across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success functions.
Have a deep understanding of the Customer Success function including insight into other post sale activities and customer journey inputs.
Possess exceptional analytical mindset alongside technical skills, with the ability to interpret usage data, customer feedback, and performance metrics to inform decisions.
Have excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills; able to influence without authority.
Experience managing or supporting product launches and customer pilot programs.
Display understanding customer lifecycle management, adoption of metrics, and retention strategies.
Have familiarity with Customer Success and GTM tools such as Gainsight, Salesforce, and product analytics platforms.
Are comfortable operating in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with evolving priorities.
Primary Location Base Pay Range: Home based-New York $113,100 - $188,500. If performed in New York City, the pay range is $118,200 - $197,100. If performed in Rochester, NY, the pay range is $97,700 - $162,700. U.S. National Pay Range: $102,800 - $171,300. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus. This role will support the launch and scaling of a new data product that Brightmine intends to launch early in 2026, so this role will be critical in developing go-to-market sales enablement curriculum of training activities to both our internal commercial team and our external partners to ensure effective commercial execution of our product into the reward market in the US.
There will be an opportunity for this role to also support the Product and Market Education program across Brightmine's US portfolio, after we successfully launch and scale our new reward offering.
Preferred candidate is in NYC, will also consider Chicago based workers. This role will be hybrid from one of our Brightmine offices and require onsite interviewing.
Responsibilities
* Develops, implements and/or delivers training to both internal sales teams and external partners on Brightmine's new reward offering
* Works with market and product experts across Brightmine to develop accessible and supporting materials on market trends and customer needs that supports the GTM launch
* Runs a calendar of market and product education activities specifically for this new product launch
* Collaborates with internal commercial leadership as well as external partner leads to track impact of training and identify future training needs
* Supports the management of our Highspot instance to ensure strong engagement and learning of our sales enablement content

About the Role:

Responsibilities:

+ Manage and grow key partner relationships (e.g., THE, QS, HERC, EARMA )

About the role:
The Customer Lifecycle & Retention Marketing Manager will drive engagement and retention across Elsevier's growing portfolio of direct-to-researcher (D2R) products, starting with ScienceDirect AI, our new subscription-based research companion.
The role will be responsible for shaping and executing our customer journey marketing touchpoints, from onboarding through renewal to deliver personalized, insight-led lifecycle campaigns that help academic researchers get lasting value from their subscription.
This role is ideal for someone who loves combining creativity with data, knows how to turn content into researcher-centric marketing and wants to help academic researchers around the world advance human progress.
Responsibilities
* Develop and manage lifecycle marketing programs that support subscribers from onboarding to renewal.
* Create and optimize automated messaging flows using platforms like Braze and Pendo to guide users through key milestones and maximize conversion.
* Implement strategies to boost user engagement, encourage renewals, and minimize cancellations.
* Collaborate with acquisition teams on campaigns to re-engage inactive users and support upsell and cross-sell initiatives.
* Work effectively with colleagues across Product, Marketing, Content, Ecommerce, and Analytics teams.
* Use data and analytics to monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Champion continuous optimization of messaging and campaign effectiveness.
* Ensure all communications reflect Elsevier's brand standards, responsible communication practices, and data privacy requirements.
