The Mold Remediation Technician will meet with interested clients to inspect their homes/business spaces, discuss the results, and inform them of remediation options.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Loads/unloads supplies/equipment into and from vehicles, cleans and returns materials and equipment to proper storage areas.
• Drives and operates a company van equipped with cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies to the work site.
• Assists in placing air movers and dehumidifiers in proper room locations to remove moisture from carpet, upholstery, and air.
• Performs basic demo tasks—cutting drywall, removing baseboards, and various flooring material, sprays fungicide and other materials.
• Provides exceptional customer service, treats property and contents with respect and care and brings any issues or customer concerns to the job leader.
• Follows proper safety practices, wears personal protective equipment as appropriate (gloves, respirators, Tyvek Suit) while working.
• Maintains clean and organized vehicle, equipment, and job site

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience and/or certifications in the disaster restoration industry a plus but not required. KeyLogic is currently searching for a Vulnerability Remediation Tech to support one of our Department of Energy contracts in the Albuquerque, NM area.

Currently, this position is onsite in Albuquerque. The selected candidate must be able to reliably commute or be open to relocating to the Albuquerque area. If offered the position, a government background investigation would be required for a security clearance. Since this position falls under the Department of Energy, the clearance does require exclusive US Citizenship (i.e., no dual citizenship).

The candidate shall provide end-user support with processes for managing and delivering services that are ITIL conformant. The Subcontractor shall resolve incidents, service requests, and problems associated with service failures or degradations that are related to hardware and software computing devices (including mobile equipment). Additionally, the Subcontractor shall support multi-user rooms (e.g., Skype rooms, classrooms) and video and collaborative technologies.
Responsibilities

* Provide prompt initial response to all assigned service requests, ensuring the standard performance requirement is met-or.
* Troubleshoot the system problem & complete repair in a timely & efficient manner, insuring minimal recurrence of problem (rework)
* If unable to repair on initial visit, validate the user's problem & provide information on a temporary work around, if necessary, to allow the customer to continue to work, until the system is repaired.
* Effectively use remote assistant tools, knowledge base, & other tools to diagnose as appropriate & wherever available in the repair customer issues within target time limits
* Provide the customer with regular communication regarding status of repair/install including notification when repairs are complete.
* Communicate with customer appropriate advice & techniques to avoid future incidents of a similar nature.
* Appropriately document all required information into the call tracking system.
* Ensure system is appropriately secured (case is locked, system password protected, etc.).
* Complete site specific, preventative maintenance checklist.
* If needed, escalate the service request to the appropriate IT support for resolution if problem cannot be handled within provided time constraints.
* Meet required productivity expectations, including Field Service Team metrics.
* Meet or exceed all performance service level targets
* Make every attempt, when appropriate, to resolve service requests remotely.
* Partner with team members to communicate new solutions and assist other technicians when call volume is low.
* Contribute to the knowledgebase (KB) through research of articles, training courses attended, on the job learning, etc.
* Participate in IT projects.
* Strive to achieve & maintain knowledge of all applicable site procedures.
* Exercise appropriate workflow & time management.
* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

* Associate degree or 3 years of related experience
* Should be trained in the prevailing operating system(s) & hardware systems used at the client site.
* Demonstrate formal customer service & technical training
* Possess experience with equipment & software installation & upgrades.
* Due to the nature of the work & its location, U.S. Citizenship is required.
* Possess two+ years of demonstrated PC support, diagnostic/troubleshooting & repair experience, including a solid working knowledge of PC operations including hardware, operating systems and network settings.

Desired experiences and skills include:

* Associate Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar
* CompTia Certifications, such as A+ or Network+ are desired.
* Microsoft Certifications, such as MCSA Windows is desired.
* Apple Certifications, such as ACSP or JAMF Certs are desired.
* Active U.S. Government Clearance

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Must we willing and able to work a VARIABLE SCHEDULE: includes working overtime,
weekends, and being on a rotating on call schedule. Experience restoration is preferred but not required. If you're willing to WORK, we're willing to train you.

• Communicate with home/business owners to secure service contracts.
• Job site inspection, determine scope of the work to be performed (water, fire, mold, etc).
• Set up drying equipment per IICRC standards and/or moisture mapping software
• Remove and dispose of non-salvageable items.
• Document and prepare documentation in project management software pertaining to the loss: contracts, pictures, sketching, daily reports.
• Communicate with management and admins to report project status, updates, issues or concerns.
• Perform general construction/repair work as needed: install and tape drywall; paint and seal; carpentry; carpet & pad installation; baseboard installation.
• Are able to lift 50 LBS
• Must be a team player & have strong work ethics.
• Possess excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must have clean driving record and valid license
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be able to pass a drug test
