What Will You Be Doing?
Responsible for creating, modifying, developing, designing, and implementing software applications and architectural design for client applications utilizing industry best practices and methodologies Responsible for improving service level agreements and reducing copy-on-write incidents, ensuring the highest level of system control and performance capability Analyzes, designs, and codes framework with the latest versions and platforms Responsible for creating application backend queries and server database architecture Responsible for streamlining, consolidating, and performing continuous integration between multiple systems, processes, and entities

Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise Needed for the Job:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Software Development, or other technical / science field preferred 3+ years experience in object-oriented technologies, preferably .NET, C# or JavaScript Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology Ideally looking for some leadership knowledge as there is a lot of room for growth in this group Experience with Microsoft SQL server database Be comfortable with a remote working environment

Impact You'll Make:

Team up with Data Engineer in the innovation efforts of global technical development, deployment, and maintenance of the Fraud Detection & Monitoring Program using applicable data programming languages and visualization tools Collaborate with business and process owners to assess business risks, analyze data and propose hypotheses for new fraud detection and monitoring rules Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and behaviors indicative of potential fraud, abuse/misuse or violations, conducted by internal associates and external customers Design and develop dashboards that alert on pre-defined rules and logic Implement temporary workarounds for any breakdowns in processes Work closely with the Global Technology and Data Architecture teams and provide technical design recommendations on the data mart structures that support analytical applications Create technical documentation and FAQs for operational instruction as well as presentations and project plans that will be shared with various audiences Understand TransUnion's products/services and partner with process owners to ensure technical requirements are prioritized, developed and delivered to meet specifications that will target fraud and misuse activities

About the role
In this role, you will be expected to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve cloud-based microservices that are part of the Guidewire Cloud Platform. You will work in a highly collaborative environment, in an agile and cross-functional team of 5 developers. You will cooperate closely with teams located in Kraków, California and Dublin.
What we're looking for:Strong experience with Java and JavaScript / HTML5 / CSSFamiliar with Continuous Delivery, Continuous Integration, Unit/Integration Testing and so on Good understanding of concepts surrounding microservices architecture Familiar with cloud technologies and concepts (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes); Object-Oriented Design and programming best-practices Familiar with relational and/or NoSQL databases Good understanding of Agile development practicesA Computer Science degree or equivalent Good communication skills in English
Nice to have:Experience working with Open Source frameworks (e.g. Spring, ReactJS or others) Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB and event systems like Kafka
