Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will become part of a European team working on the development of sensing solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include the build-up and refinement of virtual models of key product functions (mechanical, electrical, flow) using ANSYS, Comsol, and similar tools. Furthermore, you will combine these sub-models into system-based models that can be used for virtual prototyping to help speed up product development and increase product reliability. You will carry out advanced simulations, take part in virtual design of experiments, and handle the analyses as well as dissemination of results. Overall, you will collaborate closely with fellow simulation engineers as well as sensor application and product/technology specialists.

Background & Skills

To be successful in this role, you hold an academic degree in Engineering or Science and have a solid theoretical background within applied materials science, micromechanics, sensor technology, and signal conditioning/electronics. Furthermore, you have solid experience as an Engineer or Specialist within Modeling & Simulation for virtual product design. Additionally, we are looking for:

Job Summary


The Estimate Review Specialist performs quality, accurate job file audits to ensure client guidelines are met. This position reports to the Quality Assurance Supervisor in the Customer Care Division.


You Will:

  • Review estimates based on carrier guidelines.
  • Manage efficient cycle times and quality of estimate reviews.
  • Examine documents for completeness, accuracy, and conformance to carrier guidelines.
  • Use current technology to analyze written information and estimate damages.
  • Review, at minimum, 40 claims per day at varying stages in the claims process.
  • Use decision-making to resolve issues and follow up on discrepancies in files.
  • Participate in trainings, team meetings and projects.
  • Knowledge share and assist peers, when needed.
  • Represent us with excellent customer service.
  • Communicate with franchises by phone, email, and internal systems to document claim details.
  • Maintain expected case load required and a 95% department scorecard average for the year.
  • Entirety of shift will be spent researching and auditing files on a computer.



You Have:

  • 2 years of relevant experience to include experience in customer support, quality assurance or audit preferred.
  • 6+ months of experience in insurance, damage evaluation and estimating, or similar backgrounds preferred.
  • A basic understanding of loss estimating, homeowner residential, commercial, mitigation or construction.
  • Experience communicating with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications.
  • Knowledge of Xactimate / Xactware software applications or other estimating software preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1st month of training will be spent working in the office. Once fully trained, employees will be able to work in 100% remote capacity.
