We are currently seeking a H&D/Presentation Engineer - Remote to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).
An Epic Hyperspace and Deployment / Presentation Engineer is primarily responsible for the delivery, performance, and support of the Epic client-side experience, including how Epic Hyperspace is deployed, presented, and accessed by end-users across various devices and platforms
Hyperspace Deployment and Configuration:
* Package, deploy, and maintain Epic Hyperspace (the main Epic client) using tools like SCCM, Ivanti, or Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager.
* Manage ActiveX controls, client prerequisites, ODBC drivers, and user profile settings to ensure consistent Hyperspace performance.
Application Presentation and Access Optimization:
* Engineer solutions to optimize how Hyperspace and other Epic apps are delivered to end users - including Citrix, VMware Horizon, or Microsoft RDS.
* Configure seamless access across a range of endpoints (e.g., desktops, thin clients, mobile devices) for different clinical and operational workflows.
Troubleshooting and Performance Tuning:
* Identify and resolve client-side performance issues (e.g., long login times, screen freezes, latency).
* Work closely with application teams, desktop support, and networking to diagnose and fix environment-specific issues.
* Endpoint Standardization and Image Management
* Create and maintain standardized desktop or VDI images optimized for Epic.
* Ensure all devices used to access Epic meet performance benchmarks and compliance requirements
Collaboration and Support for Upgrades & Go-Lives:
* Participate in Epic version upgrades, client refresh cycles, and go-live events by validating presentation layer performance and compatibility.
* Coordinate with Epic TS/CSC (Technical Services/Client Systems) and internal teams for Hyperspace version management, deployment scripts, and environment testing
