Scope

Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities

The position will require day and overnight travel throughout the State of Georgia.
Responsibilities
The duties include, but are not limited to:
TECHNICAL SUPPORT: Provides primary IT support for technical issues at regional/clinical campuses of the Medical College of Georgia. Delivers remote or on-site diagnostic/repair support for a variety of technologies employed in administrative, academic, and simulation operations. Functions as liaison for ancillary IT groups for incident engagement and escalation to ensure timely resolution of reported incidents.
ALTERNATE SUPPORT: Provides alternate IT support for the Medical College of Georgia's primary campus in Augusta, providing on-site diagnostic/repair support for a variety of technologies utilized in administrative operations. Functions as liaison for ancillary AU and AU-IT groups for incident engagement and escalation to ensure timely resolution of reported incidents.
SERVICE MANAGEMENT APPLICATION: Completes and oversees the timely submission of reported problems through AU's Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) application. Fully documents support efforts, ensuring appropriate Service Level Agreements (SLA) are met and services restored as efficiently as possible. Proactively monitors reported or resolved incidents for tracking of trends and engages others as necessary for preventive or corrective actions.
SYSTEM SUPPORT: Proactively tests, maintains, and facilitates the usage of small group collaborative video-conferencing systems, web-conferencing systems, and related technology to support academic teaching, administrative meetings, and special events within departmental spaces.
ADVISE/CONSULT CUSTOMERS: Consults and advises customers on best practices for IT engagement, adherence to security policies, data storage, asset management tracking, evaluation of hardware/software upgrades/refresh, and productivity software collaboration to optimize departmental practices and procedures.
REGIONAL SUPPORT: For assigned regional/clinical campuses, champions site-specific coordinated support efforts between regional/clinical campus, AU-IT groups, USG networking, host IT group, or contracted vendors. Maintains accurate records of all relevant support contacts and contracts for each regional/clinical campus, including the appropriate steps to take for after-hours support needs.
TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS: Participates in the evaluation, recommendation, development, and implementation of reliable, efficient, and cost-effective technology solutions through partnerships with vendors and select AU-IT groups.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and two years of related field experience OR Associate's degree from an accredited college or university and three years of directly related field experience OR High School diploma, GED or equivalent from a recognized State or Federal accrediting organization and seven years of directly related experience and a minimum of two related certifications, i.e. CompTIA A+, or CTS. Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.

Job Summary
The position is an institutional resource for EPIC and EPIC research as it pertains to research at AU; for being primary point of contact with investigators and clinical trial coordinators; and for training and assistance with entry of study components into EPIC as it pertains to research and as required by the system. This position creates institutional reports as requested by AU leadership and the study teams and assists with training and roll out of new EPIC features and functionality as they become available to the AU research community. This position will also assist with user training and access as needed.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
Training
Reports to lead position and assist in the training AU personnel with regard to all components of EPIC applications and their implementation to the AU Community. Acts as a primary point of contact for EPIC inquires and interactions. Provide training in and assist in developing resources for EPIC security measures and for access management and protection of data. Evaluate clinical trial protocols ensuring consistent development of study calendars which comply with study procedures. Develop, organize, and deliver training to users and community in a manner that is accessible, convenient and organized.
User Support
Provides user support and serves as a liaison to WMCGH IT for resolving issues and assisting users with EPIC. Creates enterprise-wide reports for administration and study sites. Facilitates user training and access to EPIC for research.
Integrations
Ensures integrations between OnCore, EPIC, and other research systems are functioning and troubleshooting
of issues. Helps implement and validate any new integrations or upgrades as needed. Works with WMCGH to ensure quality assurance by validating research data in EPIC and communicating with research sites and WMCGH if discrepancies are found in EPIC.
Collaboration
Work collaboratively with other application administrators to ensure the efficient delivery of clinical research services and support. Crosstrain in OnCore and Research Development Services to include study calendar review and conduct of Medicare Cost Analysis.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited (4) year college or university in science or health care field with 3 or more years of direct experience with EPIC.

Engineering Technical Support Specialist - Engineering (EN103) Candidates - Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) Technical Specialist: Perform as the main point of contact for SRR Inspection Engineering. Provide technical support for others who will perform Visual Testing (VT) and Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) activities in the High-Level Waste Tank Farm facilities (HLWTF) at Savannah River Remediation, evaluate and report the results from those NDE efforts to the facility operations personnel and prepare annual reports on the conditions of the safety-related/ passive components within the HLWTF. The NDE Technical Specialist will have previous knowledge of the workings of the SRR Structural Authority and Inspection Engineering Department so as to provide mentoring/training to new NDE Technical Specialists within the department.
Responsibilities
Develop/maintain NDE technology skills/knowledge to support those who perform NDE examinations on critical plant Systems, Structures, and Components.
Provide timely examination results and basis for examination parameters to SRR or external customers. This requires work coordination with customers, facility managers, equipment owners, supervision, work planners, radiological personnel, and others as appropriate.
Provide technical inspection reports, technical observations, problems encountered, solutions, and/or technical recommendations. May include the technical rationale for interpretation of examination results or basis for selecting specific parameters of examination.
Support NDE personnel, when required, in harsh environments and/or unusual locations (i.e. outdoors, radiological, respiratory protection, confined spaces, elevated surfaces, etc.), following established safety policies and procedures. RWT II, respirator/plastic suit qualifications are required.
Knowledge of Site NDE procedures, Site contacts, and work area requirements.
Support facility/design engineering in identifying/specifying appropriate NDE methods and acceptance criteria for SRR Complex components/systems.
Develop and maintain plans and schedules for inspections, structural integrity, and indication investigations.
Review, validate, report, and disposition inspection results and report via the In-Service Inspection Review Committee (ISIRC).

Position Overview
We're seeking a Hybrid Production Technician / Installer who can handle both in-shop production and on-site installation duties. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and working in a variety of environments-from print production and assembly to vehicle graphics and field installations.
You'll work closely with our design and sales teams to produce, assemble, and install a wide range of signage and graphics projects that meet our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Production:
Operate large-format printers, laminators, plotters, and other production equipment.
Perform vinyl weeding, masking, mounting, and lamination.
Assemble signs and displays using substrates such as acrylic, aluminum, PVC, and coroplast.
Maintain organized, efficient workflow within the production area.
Perform basic finishing tasks (trimming, routing, cleaning, packing).
Installation:
Safely install signage and graphics on vehicles, walls, windows, and outdoor structures.
Ensure quality, alignment, and adhesion standards are met for every job.
Use ladders, lifts, and hand tools in accordance with safety procedures.
Conduct site surveys and take accurate measurements when needed.
Represent FASTSIGNS Aiken professionally at customer locations.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in sign production, vinyl installation, or a related trade preferred.
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
Comfortable working in lifts or bucket trucks at heights up to 50 feet.
Valid driver's license with clean driving record. (Driving record must be provided if hired).
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate power tools and ladders safely.
Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator or similar software a plus.
OSHA or aerial lift certification a plus (not required).
Ability to pass a background check.
