Position Summary:
The Sr IT Support Specialist - Supervisor position is an excellent opportunity for career-minded and goal-oriented individuals to provide exceptional managed IT services to our partners. The Sr ITSS Supervisor's primary responsibilities include managing a team of IT Support Specialists supporting Windows desktop, MAC OSX and Windows server operating systems through performance management metrics. Primary Responsibilities, Essential Functions and Requirements:
Supervision and mentorship of employees at local and remote locations
Partner with Support Services Leadership to develop and implement strategies and training initiatives to increase Support Specialist effectiveness
Mentor employees through sharing information, skill coaching, and suggesting effective initiatives that will assist an agent in providing excellent customer service.
Provide periodic review of employees that includes coaching customer service, technical ability and additional skill building as determined during review (Additional reviews may be staged on an ad-hoc basis, but a scheduled review is required on an annual basis)
Responsible for mid and year-end performance reviews and managing performance of your reports, through consistent feedback and formal performance reviews.
Sustain project updates and status reports to leadership on a regular basis
Maintains a strong understanding of partner's environments, including but not limited to software applications, learning management systems, and account creation procedures.
Drive best practices for remote desktop management, automation of imaging\updating, and proactive maintenance of supported systems.
Maintain and enforce the asset refresh program to keep technology in an up-to-date fashion.
Maintain desktop application inventory and assist with software licensing maintenance
Provide purchase approval and assist with providing financial forecasts for computer replacement and purchase
Define and maintain security procedures and policies; enforce these policies with ITSS team members
Monitoring, supporting, and troubleshooting systems issues
Adhere to and enforce the appropriate information security policies based on the sensitivity of company data and report any security-related issues
Reduce the risk of theft, fraud, or misuse of information assets by acting as the data steward for the application(s) you administer
Manage and mentor student-work studies
Continue training for ITSS team members on processes and procedures.
Requirements
Experience and Qualifications:
Possession of relevant industry certifications is highly advantageous
Extensive operations experience in IT support and management
Availability for weekend shifts to support maintenance activities and participation in on-call rotation duties
A minimum of 5 years of management experience, coupled with a robust technical background

Technology/Information Support Technician Additional Information: Show/Hide Job Description Fremont County School District 21 Information Support Technician Purpose Statement This role is responsible for Infinite Campus management, end-user support, as well as data analysis to enhance data-driven decision-making. The Information Support Technician also identifies process improvements, provides professional development for end users, works cooperatively with the Database Systems to integrate data among disparate systems, manages user access rights, and ensures the accuracy of student information data in Fremont County School District #21.
This job reports to the Technology Director.
Essential Functions:
* Pull and organize data from a variety of sources, identifying and analyzing interpreting trends and patterns in complex data sets providing ongoing reports to a variety of departments and schools. This work must be accurate and timely, while reflective of the changing needs of State Reporting, include historical data, and provide staff with ad hoc reports.
* Import, clean, validate, analyze and model current and historical data, presenting the data in charts, graphs, and tables, etc. for grants, State Reports, etc. Export data for assessment rosters, and ad-hoc reports, disaggregating data for a variety of reporting purposes. This includes anticipating staff and departmental needs for data, as well as the changing reporting needs of the State. Provide Tier ½ technical support to District employees as a primary contact for Infinite Campus, along with Master Scheduling, Gradebook, Special Education, Student Services, Academic and Career Planning, and secondary and tertiary products.
* Develop technical and end-user documentation that is clear, concise, and professionally presented.
* Evaluate requests for enhancements and modifications, explore alternatives, and make recommendations.
* Monitor processes and best practices with a commitment to quality, efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction.
* Provide Infinite Campus professional development/training, or coordinate such professional development/training with Campus Support Center(s).
* Report directly to the Technology Director and/or Superintendent any matters involving potential breaches of data security.
Secondary Functions:
* Provide Tier 2/3 technical support to other members of the I.T. staff, as well as Campus Coaches.
* Support the policies and procedures which are designed to protect databases and data files from unauthorized or accidental duplication, modification, or destruction. This includes disaster recover.
* Provide support for regular upgrades, maintenance, and monitoring of the Student database. This also includes the management of scheduled backups and verification of data integrity within the backups.
* Create and maintain staff user accounts, as well as related security/access rights within the student database, refining and implementing the current data security plan according to established protocols (Database Administrator).
* Support the development and maintenance of the District's annual beginning of the year (i.e. online registration, courses, grades, calendars, fees, picture imports, etc.); end of the year activities (i.e. student records, management of fees, food services, etc.). This also includes all activities related to Summer School.
* Support the local, state and national data collection and reporting for student information, as well as ensure data integrity and accuracy by enforcing District procedures as they relate to data collection, retention and reporting.
Additional Functions:
* Partner with all employees of the District to ensure open communication and develop a sense of trust.
* Maintain personal and professional technology skills, as well as keep current with industry trends.
* Be proactive within the I.T. Department with regards to process improvement and effectiveness.

Job Requirements:
* Qualified candidates will have a post-secondary degree in information or computer science or related field; equivalent years of work experience; or a combination of training, and previous work experience.
* A minimum of two years previous work experience in a similarly situated position, in a similarly sized district; or a combination of experience of experience and district size/complexity.

Communication, Training and Troubleshooting
* Plans and conducts equipment demonstrations as required by the Sales Department.
* Conducts machine delivery training for customers, including application startup, operation set up and digital onboarding to online tools and apps.
* Communicates with our paving partners, sales professionals, account managers, product support reps, and sales managers to promote and develop our paving markets.
* Performs site assessments as required by customers and sales group.
* Oversees and manages customer related production studies.
* Supports sales team with technical sales information to assist in the completion and closing of sales deals.
* Conducts professional machine demos and head-to-head demos versus the competition.
Sales Support, Inspections and Travel
* Helps inspect used paving machines and attachments for trade.
* Completes re-visits on new machine sales at a designated time frame set by all interested parties or on major shop rebuilds to answer questions, check for issues, direct any service repairs, etc.
* Ability to travel the full dealer territory to assist with all sales professionals, service departments and customers to promote, service, sell and train on paving equipment. Overnight stays required.
* Assists customers with operator training and maintenance practices on new machine deliveries.
* Assists Service Department in troubleshooting machine operational problems in the field.

Under the direction of the Business Operations Manager, the Business Operations Field specialist is responsible for the training, daily maintenance and support of supply chain systems and tools for their assigned facility or entities. The position is detail oriented and has excellent communication. The position applies both business practice and systems knowledge to provide continuous production support.
This position is on site based out of Logan, Utah.
**Essential Functions**
+ Provide site level operational support for supply chain systems and tools.
+ Performs operational system tasks and routine maintenance as assigned.
+ Troubleshoot assigned site issues related to system functionality and data integrity. Escalates within the Supply Chain Business Operations team as necessary.
