You will be completing hardware part replacements for Dell and Lenovo warranty services. Pay period -every Friday after the first week of completing tickets. You must have a reliable form of transportation to run these calls. You must have access to a computer and the internet to log onto your portal. Tickets are run Monday through Friday. You must be able to log into your tech portal every workday by 9 am to accept, code (update status), and map out your calls. You will be responsible for contacting your customers and confirming a window to go onsite to complete the service. Parts will be provided for you by the manufacturers. They are typically held at FedEx for you to pick up in the morning. You will be provided with shipping labels and materials to return the removed parts.

We're looking for an INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) SUPPORT TECH Responsibilities: Provide centralized and/or site based technical support to team members, including network selection, configuration, installation, operation, repair, maintenance, software installation and troubleshooting Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to various computer systems, operating systems and application software using basic test equipment or diagnostic software Maintain multi-media devices, including but not limited to telephones, printers, monitors and projectors Repair and maintain basic cabling systems, including coaxial cabling, Category 5 cabling, etc Improve knowledge and skills through extracurricular training and involvement in professional organizations Other duties assigned by IT Manager or Friendship Management Services Education/Experience: Associates Degree in a computer related field preferred Experience with computer hardware and software including the latest Microsoft Operating Systems A+ Certification, or willingness to obtain IT professional certification Requirements: Able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily Willing to travel to all locations as needed Available during all administrative and sales hours Clean driving record and valid driver's license Other Skills/Abilities: Clear, concise, and effective oral and written communication Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, management, and customers Ability to apply current knowledge and continuously learn Ability to represent the company in a manner consistent with Friendship values and expectations Physical Demands: To successfully perform the essential functions of this position, the team member may be regularly required to lift moderately heavy objects, crawl in small spaces, etc. as associated with maintaining the IT equipment.
