Job Details
This is a 1099 Contract position. Call volume varies but is typically between 2-5 calls per day. Pay is based on the number of calls completed. Pay starts at $35 per ticket.
You will be completing hardware part replacements for Dell and Lenovo warranty services.
Pay period -every Friday after the first week of completing tickets.
You must have a reliable form of transportation to run these calls.
You must have access to a computer and the internet to log onto your portal.
Tickets are run Monday through Friday. You must be able to log into your tech portal every workday by 9 am to accept, code (update status), and map out your calls.
You will be responsible for contacting your customers and confirming a window to go onsite to complete the service.
Parts will be provided for you by the manufacturers. They are typically held at FedEx for you to pick up in the morning. You will be provided with shipping labels and materials to return the removed parts.

Job Description
Johnson County Government, in Olathe, Kansas, is actively recruiting for a Legal Systems Support Specialist. We are one of the nation's premier counties, providing comprehensive services to its citizens in its role as a leading organization in the Kansas City metropolitan area. The Legal Systems Support Specialist will play a key role in advancing the department's use of technology by implementing, customizing, and maintaining legal software platforms such as HighQ for matter management, document discovery, and records requests. This position will design and automate workflows to improve efficiency across the department's operations, develop and document procedures for all legal technology systems, and provide training and support to ensure consistent, effective use. This position will remain open until filled.
This is a temporary position anticipated to last at least one year from the date of hire, with the potential to be extended for up to two years.
Additional Duties Include:
* Under direct supervision, implement and customize legal technology, including software platforms for matter management (HighQ), document discovery, and records requests.
* Design, streamline, and automate legal workflows, including mapping, building, and revising business rules, to help maximize efficiency related to all aspects of the Legal Department's service delivery, including contract drafting and review, legal opinions, legislation, regulations, and litigation.
* Assist with organizing, strategizing, and documenting upcoming changes in software platforms and related processes for the department.
* Create and update internal procedures for all software platforms in the Legal Department.
* Provide training and documentation for all internal and external users of the matter management platform (HighQ), and other legal technology as needed.

Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Information Technology, Computer Science, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a closely related field is required. Valid driver's license and knowledge or experience in a legal office and familiarity with legal documents are processes also required.
Specialized knowledge or experience with legal technology such as HighQ Matter Management, document management, or contract management systems is preferred.

Help
Serves as an ATSS (NAS Area Specialist), in a Service Operations Center (SOC). Performs a variety of functions directly relating to the operations of the NAS. Focus is on the availability and reliability of the services and products provided to users of the NAS.
Recognized as the principal technical specialist on legacy and newly developed systems within a large facility or multiple facilities over a large geographical area. Responsible for the planning, directing, coordinating, monitoring, and maintenance activities associated with the management of assigned NAS systems/facilities.
Performs work of broad scope and complexity with a high degree of independence. Applies broad experience and comprehensive technical know ledge to maintain and protect the Integrity and safety of all components and systems for the NAS service delivery. Provides the highest organization level of technical support associated with analyzing, installing, repairing, fabricating, maintaining, modifying, or evaluating the most complex systems for which the FAA is responsible.
Plans, coordinates and performs work with a high degree of independence, keeping the supervisor advised only of the most critical issues. Resolves unique technical problems without managerial intervention, providing coordination and suggested solutions.
Rapidly analyzes and seeks resolution to problems as they arise and makes adjustments as necessary to deal with system outages and network performance deterioration. Initiates action for the timely repair or restoration of services and systems, taking into account the availability of back-up systems, possible reconfigurations to minimize service interruptions, and the relative criticality of particular functions to the safe and efficient operation of the NAS. Incumbent is responsible for timely upward reporting of NAS information that could have an impact to operations for purposes of Situation Awareness (i.e. NOT AM, SAL Pagi ng function). Incumbent -in-charge is expected to be management's representative during non-administrative hours.
Integrate Operational Risk Management (ORM) into restoration, schedule maintenance activities, and all planned projects, ensuring that all customers and users of services are included and involved in ORM implementation and planning.
Contacts are both internal and external. Often represents the organization as the primary point of contact on projects, programs, and other work activities to coordinate and implement plans or obtain information and resolve problems.
The Operations area serves as a principal organizational element of the Technica l Operations Organizational to plan, direct, coordinate, monitor, and accomplish activities associated with real-time management of assigned NAS systems/facilities at the service integrity level. Reports to the Serv ice Operations Center Manager.
Receives general program assignments from a supervisor or higher-level manager. Assignments are stated in terms of priorities, overall objectives, and boundaries. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Ability to document and follow established company procedures
Understanding of hardware, software, security tools, and concepts
Experience and knowledge of troubleshooting applications such as Microsoft 365, Adobe Acrobat, etc.
Experience using a Ticketing system/ RMM Tool and PSA software (Specifically Connectwise Automate and Manage)
Experience providing support via remote tools
IT Glue experience preferred
WatchGuard/Firewall experience preferred
StorageCraft, Datto backups experience preferred
Ability to work autonomously both swiftly and effectively
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
Reliable transportation to and from work
Working Conditions
This position will be on-site, physically in Manhattan, KS. Adams Brown Technology Specialists, LLC. promotes a flexible work environment with a deep commitment to technology and modern work arrangements. Our office is open from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. We are closed on major holidays, offer substantial paid-time-off, a comprehensive benefit package, competitive pay structure, and a culture of growth, clarity, and respect. Additional hours (overtime) and travel may be required. Travel to client offices does not typically require overnight stays. Possible on call duties, with extended hours.
