What You'll Do
As an Equipment Operator at REMPREX, you will facilitate workload requirements in an intermodal terminal facility, safely and efficiently, in a fast-paced, 24/7/365 outdoor environment.
Responsibilities
Work as a member of the team to coordinate the workload based on the client's needs
Attend or facilitate pre-shift job briefings
Complete pre- and post-shift cursory inspections of equipment
Operate cranes, side loaders, reach stackers, and hostlers to unload and load containers as well as trailers from rail cars, as required
Ensure that all containers and trailers are properly secured prior to departure
Move containers and trailers from rail to designated parking stalls in the terminal.
Movement to offsite properties, as required
Maintain organization of containers, trailers, and chassis in the yard inventory
Understand and obey all regulations and yard safety policies and procedures
Strong communication skills to ensure efficient and safe day-to-day operations
What You'll Need
Required:
High School diploma or equivalent intermodal facility experience
Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
Efficiency and time-management skills
Comfort with working above ground, as required (5-6 feet)
Ability to adjust to changing facility demands as requested by the client's requirements and commitments due to seasonal variances, disrupted work schedules, and industry needs
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability/Willing to work outside in all weather conditions
Ability to work in the presence of loud machinery
Ability to work after-hour callouts, as required
Preferred:
Ability to operate or willingness to learn computer systems required for terminal dynamics
Commercial driver's license (CDL) (not required)
Experience running and maneuvering hostler equipment
Proficiency in rubber tire gantry cranes, reach stackers, and side loaders

Position Purpose
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Facilities, to maintain school buildings and building and grounds in orderly, neat, safe and operable condition.
Essential Job Functions
Performs tasks to keep school buildings and building and grounds in orderly, neat, and clean condition such as clearing disposing of trash, cleaning bathrooms and floors, washing windows, dusting furniture and fixtures, mowing grass, and related tasks.

Checks all building entrances/exits to ensure that they are working properly
Opens and closes building and ensures that all doors and windows are closed and securely locked prior to leaving.
Maintains motors and other mechanical equipment and ensures that such equipment receives scheduled servicing.
Obtains equipment, tools and materials required for completion of assigned work.
Maintains inventory of supplies, materials, equipment, and fuel, and places orders as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operations of maintenance tasks.

Loads empty pallets and plastic storage flats/shells for the transport truck to return to the manufacturing location. Position loads pre-made, multi-product pallets on to local delivery trucks. Position will likely have housekeeping duties such as recycling plastic, mopping/sweeping, and ensuring cleanliness standards). Must be able to pass Forklift Driving Skills test.
This position requires lifting cases weighing from 20-45 pounds repeatedly throughout a long work period. Also requires carrying and lifting cases while reaching, bending, climbing, walking/standing to move product through warehouse. Position may include periodic weekend and/or holiday work.

Position Summary
A Land Rehabilitation and Maintenance ( LRAM ) Light Equipment Operator (Technical/Support I) position is available at Schofield Barracks, HI with Colorado State University ( CSU ) and the Center for Environmental Management of Military Lands ( CEMML ). This position conducts soil stabilization and vegetation management activities in support of the LRAM component of the Army's Integrated Training Area Management ( ITAM ) Program at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, by utilizing light equipment and hand tools such as tractors, mowers, straw blowers, hydro-seeders, skid-steers, shovels, root rakes, pick axes, brush axes, and chainsaws. Work location is located on US Army Garrison Schofield Barracks, Oahu, Hawaii.
Schofield Barracks was established in 1908 to provide mobile defense of Pearl Harbor and the entire island. Located 20 miles from Honolulu on the plateau or "central valley" of Oahu between the two volcanic mountains that comprise the island, the nearly 18,000-acre installation is home to the U.S. Army Garrison, Hawaii.
Work location is dependent on the needs of the partner/project/role and requires staff to be fully in-person.
Required Job Qualifications

Position Summary
A Land Rehabilitation and Maintenance ( LRAM ) Heavy Equipment Operator (Technical/Support II) position is available at Schofield Barracks, HI with Colorado State University ( CSU ) and the Center for Environmental Management of Military Lands ( CEMML ). This position will provide Heavy Equipment Operator ( HEO ) services to complete soil stabilization and vegetation management activities for Range Division Hawaii at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. HEOs will conduct work in support of the Land Rehabilitation and Maintenance ( LRAM ) component of the Army's Integrated Training Area Management ( ITAM ) Program.
This position will operate heavy equipment such as 10-to-25-ton dump trucks, dozers, motor graders, front-in loaders, vibratory compactors, scrapers, forestry mowers ( FECON ), track hoes, agricultural tractors, and back hoes for the purpose of completing LRAM projects. Primary functions are soil stabilization and vegetation management on Army lands. This position will also require tracking and preparing daily and weekly reports.
Schofield Barracks was established in 1908 to provide mobile defense of Pearl Harbor and the entire island. Located 20 miles from Honolulu on the plateau or "central valley" of Oahu between the two volcanic mountains that comprise the island, the nearly 18,000-acre installation is home to the U.S. Army Garrison, Hawaii.
Work location is dependent on the needs of the partner/project/role. and requires staff to be fully in-person.

This is a fulltime job opportunity working 12-hour shift on nights; 3 on and 3 off. There is no per diem and no relocation assistance.
Equipment Operator
The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment such as front-end loaders and forklifts.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to operate front-end loader and skid steer
Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, or containers
Use RF scanners to track inventory movement
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations for safe equipment operation
Build and stack materials according to specifications
Perform general warehouse duties including heavy lifting and materials handling
Qualifications:
Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with forklifts and pallet jacks
Familiarity with RF scanners for inventory tracking
Ability to operate order pickers and other warehouse machinery
Knowledge of OSHA regulations for safe workplace practices
Capable of heavy lifting and physical labor in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to perform work wearing personnel protective equipment. Including but not limited to the following: rain gear, chemical protective clothing, supplied air and air purifying respirators, safety harness, sand blast hoods, fire resistant coveralls, hard hat, ear plugs and safety glasses.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have full range of mobility in upper and lower body, able to reach overhead, able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, squatting; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; work at heights; balance for extended periods of time.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required for this Position:
Education: no minimum education requirements.
Experience: 3 years of experience in an industrial setting preferred.
Must pass pre-employment physical and background check, as condition of employment.
Schedule: 12-hour Night Shift; 3 on and 3 off.

****************************************************** An Equipment Operator Specialist maintains, repairs, and utilizes heavy-duty vehicles and equipment to care for the University grounds. This role involves using equipment to perform various duties, including waste disposal, mowing, landscaping, irrigation, greenhouse maintenance, and snow removal. The specialist operates sanitation trucks, recycling trucks, dump trucks, front-end loaders, backhoes, tractors, and other large motor vehicles.
Minimum Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* One year of relevant experience.
* Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience operating heavy-duty equipment (sanitation trucks, mowers, skid steers, high lifts, back hoes, trenchers, etc.).
* Experience in groundskeeping, horticulture, or greenhouse management.
* Experience in maintaining and operating irrigation systems.
* Experience in applying chemicals.
Responsibilities:
* Operate and maintain sanitation trucks and recycling trucks. Retrieve, empty, and return trash and recycling containers at campus facilities.
* Operate a hydraulic dumping system.
* Operate large mowers, tractors, skid-steer loaders, high lifts, trenchers, and backhoes to maintain campus grounds and complete landscaping projects.
* Mow, trim, and edge lawns and grass areas.
* Plants, water, weed, and prune trees, shrubs, flowers, and lawns.
* Apply fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, and other chemicals according to safety guidelines.
* Perform pre-operational checks and minor repairs to heavy-duty machinery.
* Assist with tree removal.
* Assist with snow removal for sidewalks, streets, and parking lots.
* Assist with irrigation installation and maintenance.
* Execute maintenance required to keep vehicles or equipment in working order.
* Manage the safety, quality, and cleanliness of work areas to maintain a suitable work environment.
* Take preventive measures to avoid injury to workers or other persons and damage to equipment and property.
* Ensure that all operations use proper equipment to maintain health and safety standards
Salary: $15.75 per hour
