Responsibilities
Recover medications administered or dispensed to indigent patients without third-party prescription coverage
Build relationships with and serve as a liaison to physicians, patients, and pharmaceutical companies regarding program systems and processes
Answer questions regarding company policies and procedures related to reimbursement programs
Routinely visit key contacts within the health system to ensure a high level of service and support program participation
Maintain daily communication with patients, nurses, physicians, social services, pharmacy personnel, pharmaceutical representatives, and manufacturers
Discuss medication options with physicians and patients based on accessibility and availability in an outpatient setting
Respond to pharmacy questions related to day-to-day operational issues and product/vendor information
Manage and process applications to pharmaceutical manufacturers' Patient Assistance Programs (PAPs)
Educate physicians, patients, and pharmaceutical companies on program mission, guidelines, requirements, and appropriate referrals
Provide extensive patient education and counseling to determine eligibility for assistance programs
Identify and resolve rejected applications, including securing comparable medication regimens
Refer patients who do not qualify for assistance programs to external resources such as local charities
Track and report the value of recovered medications for billing and reporting purposes
Maintain strict confidentiality and security of patient information

Required Qualifications
Completion of a GED or high school diploma.
An active State Technician and PTCB license (or Technician Trainee license).
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Pharmaceutical Expertise: Completion of a recognized Pharmacy TechnicianCertification Program (PTCP) is highly valued.

Position Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 7:30pm - 6:00am (Full-Time) Position Overview
Ready to step into a pivotal role where your skills bring life-changing medications to individuals who depend on them? As a Non-Sterile Compounding Technician at Strive Pharmacy, you'll be at the core of preparing and compounding custom prescriptions, both hazardous and non-hazardous, upholding the highest standards of quality control and compliance with our SOPs.
Key Responsibilities
Join the forefront of healthcare excellence, where you'll have:
Mix custom medications, like liquids, creams, pills, and more, to help people in need
Maintain and document scales and meters for precise measurements
Ensure quality control and hand off compounds to the pharmacist for final approval
Manage chemical inventory and keep it fresh
Maintain a clean and safe workspace
Work with your team to tackle challenges and follow schedules
Participate in audits and inspections to meet industry standards
Work Environment
The physical demands and work environment are characteristic of those found in a typical laboratory environment. There is a potential exposure to chemicals used in the preparation of compounds and cleaning agents used in the facility. This position will require the ability to sit in an office or stand for an extended period of time. It also will require enough physical dexterity and fine motor skills to type, manipulate syringes, and work with delicate equipment and devices. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Previous pharmacy environment experience

Position Overview:

As a Data Entry Pharmacy Technician at Strive Pharmacy, you'll be at the core of prescription processing, upholding the highest standards of quality control and compliance with our SOPs.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize pharmacy management systems and internal tools to efficiently enter, update, and route prescriptions
Accurately process new and refill prescription orders, ensuring thorough review before submission
Properly prioritize workload across multiple queues while meeting turnaround expectations
Adapt quickly to process changes, new workflows, and system updates
Apply the highest level of technical attention to detail
Confirm the accuracy and completeness of patient, prescriber, and medication data
Identify and correct data discrepancies proactively to maintain order integrity
Communicate clearly and professionally with pharmacists, providers, and internal teams regarding order clarification and resolution
Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines to safeguard patient information
Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations, as well as internal policies, governing prescription processing
Collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members to obtain missing or unclear information.
Maintain productivity and quality standards while meeting established KPIs
Demonstrate teamwork by supporting shared goals and assisting with department needs as required
Demonstrate reliability, time management, and a strong sense of ownership over assigned work
Required Qualifications:

A clean criminal record with no felonies
Certified and licensed pharmacy technician and PTCB
Compounding experience is preferred but not required (onsite training will be provided)
1+ years in a pharmacy data entry position (retail/community/mail-order)
Ability to work Saturday's, if needed
Previous experience in a data entry position in a pharmacy setting
