    Our financial services client is looking for a Sr. IT Project Manager to support modernization and migration across multiple enterprise systems. This is a 12-month assignment (40 hrs/week). The client is open to fully remote candidates who can work CST hours; however, there is a slight preference who individuals who can work onsite three days a week in St. Louis, MO or Tempe, AZ. The team manages and oversees modernization efforts for several enterprise technology platforms. Facilitate monthly formal status reporting, including progress, risks, issues, and decisions required. Conduct one-on-one team check-ins to ensure alignment, identify blockers, and validate progress. Maintain project plans, RAID logs, timelines, and documentation aligned with PMO standards. Manage both Agile rituals and Waterfall checkpoints depending on the project structure. Stakeholder Management Partner with the business owner to ensure requirements, acceptance criteria, and outcomes are well defined. Communicate project updates to cross-functional stakeholders in a clear, structured, and concise manner. Navigate stakeholder expectations, negotiate priorities, and escalate risks when appropriate. Risk, Issue & Change Management Identify potential delays or impacts early and drive mitigation strategies. Manage change requests and ensure appropriate approvals and documentation.
