We are seeking a Marketing Manager for our Data Center business with a background as an Applications Engineer.
The primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Create Data Center market technologies inflexion insights
Develop Market Requirements Document (MRD) by engaging with market leading customers and capturing technology needs, systems roadmaps
Study emerging market and industry technology trends
Develop datacenter business opportunities and win strategies
Advocate IP offerings roadmap to customers and collect feedback
Working closely with management to drive all phases of customer design wins and execution
Requirements for this position
:
Bachelor's Degree in EE, Masters preferred
5+ years of successful experience in marketing and closing business
8+ years of experience with data center networking, storage and server products (knowledge of data center interconnects)
Must have experience in networking and storage industry. In depth knowledge of Storage applications is required. Familiarity with solid state storage is a plus.
Requires an excellent understanding of ASIC design and manufacturing flows, including a good grasp of the competitive landscape
Knowledge required - ASIC Marketing, CNICs/HBAs, PCIe, NVMe, Flash, SSD, SATA, SAS, iSCSI
Ability to guide products through development, including the definition and trade off analysis of architectures and new features for the components required for Data Center ASIC
Ability to lead with varied goals and objectives to achieve business unit's direction and purpose
Ability to use financial tools such as ROI and NPV analysis to build business cases.
Teamwork, dedication, strong communications and interpersonal skills

The SPE-FAE, Principle Technical Lead will have an opportunity to work across various market segments, and designs. The position will be part of Sales Organization helping educate customers and provide solutions using our IP. Principle Technical Lead will be reporting to Sr. Director of WW Field Applications Engineering

Responsibilities
* Collaborating with the sales and marketing team to identify and understand our customers' technical/ business challenges. Develop appropriate strategies and solutions for customers, leveraging the broad Rambus IP portfolio.
* Presenting Rambus IP portfolio, focusing either on embedded security, cryptographic algorithms and protocols or focusing on PCIE and Memory technologies
* Work with the Sales personnel and business unit to secure design wins. Set strategy at key accounts to displace competitors and win all open opportunities.
* Work on customer RFI/RFQs and drive internal technical/business alignment on RFI/RFQs.
* Influencing the IP development/roadmap by communicating customer needs/feedback to the IP marketing/R&D teams and addressing competitive challenges.
* Demos to customers during pre-sales phase and supporting demos at conferences.
* Supporting evaluations on-site/remote technical discussions, addressing technical problems, and communicating engagement status to stake holders.
* Pre-sale customer support and co-ordinate during post sales.
* Write application notes, articles, design ideas, new product proposals for internal and/or external publication.
* Travel (~ 10~15%) required to visit customer, sales, and engineering locations.
Qualifications
* BS in EE, CE or related equivalent with 12+ years of work experience or MS in EE, CE or related equivalent with 10+ year of work experience
* Good understanding of latest SoC architectures and system-level design practices for one or more market segments (mobile, storage, automotive, networking, IoT) particularly from IP requirements perspective.
* Understanding of embedded security use cases for target markets mentioned above is advantage.
* Either Knowledge of cryptographic algorithms and protocols, Public Key Infrastructure, Key Management or
* Knowledge on PCIE and Memory
* Proven presentation skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to understand and present complex technical requirements, problems, and solutions concisely in verbal and written communications.
* Ability to analyze, summarize and generate status updates from technical data.
* Ability to organize, conduct and co-ordinate meetings involving multiple teams internal and external.
* Prior experience in selecting, using, designing, or supporting internal or external IP.
* Prior experience in an application engineering or another direct customer facing roles.
* Additional knowledge of ARM, AMBA a plus.
* Additional knowledge on C modeling is a plus.

We currently have an opening for a Field Applications Engineer (FAE). We are seeking candidates with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently. This position is based out of our Jacksonville, Florida location and reports to the Director of Program Management in Clarksburg, MD.
Responsibilities
* Acts as the sole on-site company representative for our Jacksonville, FL Customer Support post, ensuring smooth daily operations. This includes monitoring and reporting any office or facility-related issues to the Clarksburg, MD headquarters, coordinating with the Facilities team as needed, receiving truck deliveries, and supporting basic site logistics.
* Support BD/PM with emerging trends and advanced technologies.
* Serves as a primary customer interface and technical support for the U.S. Navy Depot, working closely with end users to address inquiries and gather insights on current and future needs and requirements.
* Provide operational support to fielded systems.
* Performs quality oversight of U.S. Navy Depot repairs, verifying that all work is completed, documented, and executed in accordance with required specifications and standards.
* Operate and perform engineering analysis and debug of equipment.
* Manages PFARs and EIDPs by collecting inputs from the U.S. Navy Depot, preparing Preliminary Failure Reports and End Item Data Packages, and submitting them to the Program Manager.
* Manage the movement of units in and out of the base, including receiving units from TDSI and delivering them to the Depot for repair, as well as coordinating shipment of repaired units from the Depot to FedEx for outbound delivery.
* Maintain repair stock by receiving both GFE and TDSI-owned parts into the ERP system, requisitioning and delivering parts to the Depot for repairs, returning faulty parts to the TDSI office, and managing quarterly processes-sending non-repairable parts to TDSI headquarters for scrapping and repairable parts to the OEM for refurbishment. Receive repaired parts from the OEM and return them to stock in the ERP system.
* Help adapt existing TDSI technologies to meet customer needs. Participate in conceptional design for advanced programs.
Qualifications
