    Renesas Palm Bay is a semiconductor wafer fabrication, assembly and test operation that produces analog and mixed signal products for high reliability and commercial applications, some of which are unique to the world. The role Sr. Staff Industrial Engineer is to optimize profit by identifying and implementing solutions to improve quality, delivery, reduce cost and risk in manufacturing processes. This position will collaborate with Facilities, Finance, Supply Chain, Quality and all departments in the organization, utilizing engineering methods to manage resources to achieve organizational goals. Responsibilities * Equipment and labor capacity analysis to identify bottlenecks and evaluate alternatives to elevate capacity. * Data analysis to identify trends in performance and opportunities for improvement. * Manage factory loading, cycle time and inventory levels to satisfy demand and service levels. * Lead cross functional improvement teams to solve complex problems. * Set and monitor short and long term goals for the entire operation. * Establish priorities for process improvement and capital expenditure based on resources available and financial impact. * Schedule production activities to ensure productive resource allocation and on time delivery. * Report on Operations performance to Staff. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Engineering with at least 10 years of relevant experience. * Prefer MBA or MSIE. * Expertise in Statistical Analysis and Lean principles. * Mastery of Microsoft Excel. * Knowledge of FabTime, SQL and other computer languages to aid data mining. * Semiconductor manufacturing background is desired. * Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. * This is an ITAR role - the candidate must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. Person. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering with at least 10 years of relevant experience. Prefer MBA or MSIE. Expertise in Statistical Analysis and Lean principles. Mastery of Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of FabTime, SQL and other computer languages to aid data mining. Semiconductor manufacturing background is desired. Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
