Minimum Qualifications

· Minimum of 1 year experience operating sheet metal equipment (laser, punch, panel bender, press brake preferred).
· 1+ years of relevant manufacturing experience required.
· Basic computer and math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, and read measurements in inches and feet).

As a CNC Programmer, you'll play a critical role in sheet metal fabrication-bringing new parts, prototypes, and production components to life. You'll collaborate across Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Engineering while supporting work at both our Waunakee and Dane locations to ensure quality, efficiency, and manufacturability in every program you build.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, modify, update, and document CNC programs for new and existing parts, including prototypes.
Perform daily sheet nesting and partner with Fabrication Technicians to test and troubleshoot programs prior to release.
Maintain accurate part programs by working closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Design Engineering to reflect the latest revisions.
Support documentation, SOP development, and training related to programming software and fabrication equipment.
Evaluate manufacturability, cycle time, and production cost implications for new designs or changes.
Ensure smooth workflow and communication between fabrication, programming, and scheduling teams across both facilities.
Adapt to shifting priorities, including rework, quick-turn jobs, and urgent prototype needs.
