The company moved its office from Wisconsin to South Stillwater, Minnesota (renamed Bayport in 1922), ten years later.
By 1935, Andersen began shipping pre-assembled windows which saved time and controlled the quality of the final product.
In 1991, Fibrex was patented and went on to become one of Andersen’s most notable claims to fame.
Since opening our first store in Minnesota in 1995, Renewal by Andersen has rapidly grown to more than 100 markets in the United States, becoming one of the largest window replacement companies in the country.
As of 2013, around 9,000 people, including those who replace Cape Cod windows, are working for Andersen in various location across North America.
