The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of workers that involve ordering picking, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts, in a small to mid-sized warehouse or yard.

Flexibility to work weekends as needed is required
Position Responsibilities
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the warehouse.
Ensure proper execution and implementation of all policies procedures with regard to picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
Train and evaluate warehouse staff on effective inventory techniques and daily tasks.
Assist and maintain appropriate inventory levels and product loss control.
Conduct physical counts of inventory and reconcile floor counts and inventory shipments.
Schedule and manage warehouse team members within labor and budget while meeting the demands of the facility.
Ensure compliance with safety codes, policies, and procedures of the Company and standards established by Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) and Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Ensure all equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, pallet jacks, and fleet trucks, is properly maintained and inspection practices are followed.

Job Description
Responsible for helping in all daily functions related to the receiving, warehousing and direct issuance of goods and services received at the property or properties assigned. The Receiver must have average working knowledge of receiving and warehousing operations. Receiver must have average knowledge of all functions as related to the receiving process - specifically printing receiving worksheets, creating Receivers, Purchase Order research, Vendor research, and historical research.
Assist in the unloading of goods from delivery trucks
Responsible for following all processes and procedures of the receiving dock including but not limited to proper receipt of product, delivery of product, and resolving discrepancies with deliveries.
Compare invoices and/or delivery documents provided by the vendor to the Purchase Order to verify quantity, and quality, are correct. This may involve the weighing of product, counting, and sorting of product to ensure product meets Boyd Gaming specifications and standards.
Spot check product with catch weights using the scale provided at dock. Print verified weights on receiving worksheet using scale printer.
Resolve delivery discrepancies - have delivery document changed by the driver so that invoice or delivery documents are correct before signing.
Accurately update receiving documents in the purchasing system.
Transport product to appropriate location (e.g., warehouse, refrigerator, freezer, food & beverage outlets, etc.)
Assist fellow team members with checking in, stocking, rotating, and organizing product, as needed
Responsible for following all processes and procedures of the warehouse including but not limited to filling issue requisitions, updating issue requisitions, delivery of product to all outlets, proper rotation of stock ensuring FIFO is in place, responding to the needs of all outlets and departments.
Ensure all Non-PO packages (guest packages, samples, warranty work etc.) are logged accurately and legibly on the package/freight log sheets.
Ensure proper signature(s) are obtained on the issue requisition(s) at delivery of product.
Deliver products/orders (including freight), to the appropriate departments/outlets, as needed

Qualifications

Responsible for ensuring inventory control processes are accurately followed and reported. Accountable for analysis and reporting of all pertinent data to manage inventory accuracy, cycle counts process and warehouse locations. Conducts cycle counts, physical inventory, data entry, and report generation.
What you'll do:
Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records
Assist in development and implementation of perpetual inventory
Coordinates cycle counts as scheduled
Ensure the correct use of units of measure and maintain proper labeling on all products
Train personnel in necessary processes to ensure compliance
Help with completing physical inventory as scheduled or as requested by management
Compiles reports and analysis of inventory control results and activities
Analyze inventory metrics and recommend improvements
Maintain and evaluate databases and reports to support inventory control analysis and reporting
Learn Canopy system and suggest needed reports
Performs slot checks as requested to ensure alignment of systems and physical inventory
Perform other projects as assigned.

Receives delivered supplies, materials, and equipment; confirms that delivered goods match purchase order specifications of quantity, condition, model number, etc; completes all necessary paperwork for stock items received, and forwards to supervisor. Conducts weekly cycle counts of inventory. All other duties as assigned
About you:
Excellent math, reading, communication (verbal and written) and problem solving/analytical skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Ability to handles multiple tasks
Attention to detail, solid judgment and decision making skills
Forklift certification may be required
Microsoft Office platform
Ability to lift/move up to 70 lbs solo or greater weights in a team lift
Previous Warehouse Management (WMS) experience required
