Key Responsibilities • Perform quality checks and inspections of manufactured products to ensure they meet required standards and specifications. • Conduct quality audits of the manufacturing process to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulations and standards. • Collaborate with production team to identify and address quality issues and implement corrective actions. • Provide training and guidance to production team on quality control procedures and practices. • Utilizes measuring and testing equipment to perform inspections such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. • Records and maintains accurate data and documentation of inspection results • Conducts root cause analysis of quality issues to identify and address underlying causes • Communicates effectively with cross-functional teams, including overseas plants, engineers, designers, and production supervisors, to ensure quality objectives are met • Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to product quality during new model, mass production and warranty • Must be willing to travel both domestically and internationally to meet with customers, suppliers, vendors, and overseas TEC plants. Job Purpose: - The Technician at VALLEY FORD TRUCKS- MASTER is responsible for performing diagnostic tests, repairs, and maintenance on various Ford truck models. Required Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a technician in the automotive or truck service industry. - Proven track record of diagnosing and repairing vehicle issues efficiently and accurately. - Experience with a variety of diagnostic tools and equipment specific to truck maintenance and repair. Job Responsibilities Complete MPI inspections for service advisors, including estimates and explanations. Test drive vehicles to evaluate noise or vibration concerns. Diagnose and repair vehicles based on identified issues and approved estimates. Test drive vehicles after repairs to ensure concerns have been resolved. Identify and document any additional work needed after inspection or test drive. Accurately complete all required documentation for each repair. Return vehicles to their proper locations. Qualifications Valid driver's license with fewer than 6 points and no major violations. 1 to 3 years of experience as a service technician (manufacturer certifications preferred but not required). Ability to stand for long periods and work in varying temperatures and noise levels.
