Rental representative job description

• Ability to learn and comprehend technical material
• Computer and smartphone proficiency including the MS Office Suite, Salesforce
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts, apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
• Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions
• 3+ Years of utility industry products and services including tooling and safety equipment, or related industry rental/sales experience preferred (willing to train the right individual)

Requirements:

Communication skills

• Communicate with others who have inquiries about CTOS, be able to exchange accurate information
• Professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal and business level communication capabilities
• Take the time to understand points made by business partners and customers, asking questions as appropriate
• Monitor/assess performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements
• Communicate effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience

Personal skills:

• Thorough knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques
• Experience in working in a results-oriented, team environment
• Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize multiple tasks, multiple times, daily
• Professional personal appearance
• Strong attendance record
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment without direct supervision
• Identify complex problems to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions

Working Conditions:

The workenvironment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

• Works in an office and at times warehouse/repair environment with exposure to varying degrees of temperatures and noise
• Constantly operates a computer, phone, copy machine, laptop, mobile device, and printer, etc.
• Ability to travel with overnight stays during training, meetings, shows and other events as needed
• Able to work as scheduled with punctual attendance 8:00 am-5:00 pm, Monday-Friday plus additional hours/days necessary, excluding vacation time and holidays, to meet business demands, especially during storm season(s)

Physical Requirements

• Sitting, standing, and walking
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty-five pounds.

Depending on the location, you will inventory our cars at our airport lots, enter vehicle status and other information in a mobile handheld device, check that our cars are ready for our customers to rent, organize our lots and assist customers as needed, all with excellent customer service.
