Pallet Repair technicians are responsible for sorting and repairing returned pallets. The technician must learn and memorize the PECO pallet specification and ensure that all pallets leaving his worktable meet it. Pallets that do not meet the specifications must be repaired. Essential Duties: * Sort pallets by lifting them onto the worktable and inspecting them from the top, bottom, and sides. * Replace any defective components on the pallet using the supplied tools. These tools include Pneumatic nailers, reciprocating saws, and angle grinders. * Restock lumber and keep the workstation clean and organized throughout the day. * Memorize pallet specifications and ensure all pallets processed meet those specifications. * Clean or report any contamination or potential food safety issues for customers. * Other duties as assigned * Learn, understand, and adhere to all PECO safety policies and procedures for the depot and your role. Coordinate return progress and status updates using secure communication tools to keep clients informed at each stage of the filing process. Review returns with clients, address questions, and obtain necessary authorizations (e.g., Form 8879 or state equivalents) for e-filing. Perform tax research on complex issues using reliable federal and state resources. Apply appropriate business tax strategies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current tax laws and regulations. Maintain confidentiality and ensure the security of all sensitive client data. Use company-provided software and tools to interact with clients and manage workflow efficiently. Follow all applicable federal and state regulatory requirements, including those under IRS Circular 230. May be cross-trained on other product lines in order to support other queues, as needed. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Who You Are A business tax professional with: 3+ years of hands-on experience preparing Forms 1120-S and 1065 for small or mid-sized businesses. A deep understanding of partnership taxation, S Corp rules, and multi-state filing requirements. Experience with e-filing and digital client management. A skilled communicator who: Provides clear, practical explanations of complex tax concepts. Is comfortable interacting with business clients via phone, video, and secure messaging tools. Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted Enrolled Agent (EA) or CPA credential. Active PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number). The Inventory & Repair Supervisor in Columbus, OH reports to the VP of Procurement. The Inventory and Repair Superisor will supervise the operation and performance of Inventory & Repair Coordinators while maintaining a high-level of accuracy, efficiency, training, and development in assigned department. You will perform all core and repair tasks in accordance with company procedures and policies and oversee the daily operation of core and inventory activities while providing support to mitigate delays in cores processing and inventory repair management. Responsibilities: Assist in issuing core return documentation and service orders for AOG, Scheduled and Line Maintenance events. Expedite overdue service orders and core returns to ensure timely stock replenishment and core return processing. Verify all open due cores are actioned against the appropriate vendor. Maintains communication in daily meetings with vendors for core management review and performance. Ensures repair vendors are providing estimates, airworthiness certification, and support in accordance with company policy and processes. Provides guidelines for repair order approval amounts. Maintains stock inventory accuracy and coordinates with Supervisor of Materials & Logistics for appropriate processes for exchange transactions to ensure cores and rentals are returned within terms and mitigates late and lost cores.
