Follow customer instructions carefully and document all work performed through photos and written notes. Collect signatures, complete service paperwork, and ensure accurate job costing. In this role, you will perform testing, troubleshooting, and advanced rework of printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic products. This position requires strong soldering skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work with precision in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do * Perform routine testing, troubleshooting, and repair of defective PCBs. * Conduct visual inspections to IPC-A-610 workmanship standards. * Execute soldering and de-soldering using SMT tooling and advanced hand soldering methods to IPC-7711/7722 standards. * Perform advanced rework of surface mount and fine-pitch components, including BGA rework. * Operate test equipment such as oscilloscopes, RF power meters, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers. * Set up and reload SMT machines (Feeder, Tray, and Tube Loading). * Maintain inspection logs and records of malfunctions. * Provide technical guidance and informal training to lower-level operators. * Assemble experimental circuitry or prototype models. * Analyze and interpret test data; recognize failures and setup issues. * Assist with special projects as needed.
