LFG Specialties is a part of the Solid Waste Services group within APTIM's Environmental & Energy Solutions Strategic Business Unit. LFG Specialties is an original equipment manufacturer and has been servicing the solid waste industry (i.e., landfills) since 1987, providing custom fabricated compliance equipment (i.e., landfill gas extraction and compression systems, flares, and evaporation systems for the treatment of landfill leachate), service, and parts. These modular systems are designed, fabricated, and tested at APTIM's Findlay, OH campus, which consists of over 45,000 sq. ft. of fabrication and assembly shop area. These systems serve to minimize fugitive landfill gas emissions and reduce leachate volumes to maintain compliance with the EPA guidelines for MSW landfills and mitigate the release of Greenhouse Gases that deteriorate the ozone.
We are one of the leading providers of equipment to the landfill gas industry. We design and fabricate gas flaring, drying, compression and evaporation equipment. We currently have multiple openings for experienced Service Technicians to engage in the maintenance, repair, and startup of our equipment at customer sites. Weekly travel is required. Reporting into an office is not required.
**Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:**
+ Travel to and from client sites in a multi-state region, typically 3-4 days each week.
+ Work with senior technicians for first year during training.
+ Modify, assess, and repair electrical control and power systems (480VAC to signal wiring).
+ Modify pneumatic plumbing, installation/replacement of mechanical components into existing systems. Perform preventative maintenance including bearing changes and wire tightening Travel to and from client sites in a multi-state region, typically 3-6 days each week.
+ Communication with service manager and office support team.
+ Company truck and tools will be provided to perform weekly duties.
+ Maintain detailed records of field activities, safety reports and expenses.
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Willing to travel 3 of 4 weeks each month.
+ Must be able to read electrical blueprints.
+ Priority given to those with mechanical experience/mechanical print reading.
+ Possess strong troubleshooting abilities relating to industrial controls. Ability to perform various mechanical duties with valves, blower and motor bearings, pumps, etc. Welding and metal working experience is a plus.
+ Applicant must possess a valid Drivers' License and clean driving record.
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Fluent in Spanish is a plus
+ Must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Required Skills and Abilities:
Rough Carpentry - replace sheathing, decking, studs, bottom/top plates, headers, sills, joists, rafters, etc.
Finish Carpentry - install crown molding, baseboards, window/door trim, wainscotting, etc.
Basic Electrical - trace circuits to shut off power in work area, disconnect/reconnect receptacles & light fixtures
Drywall - replace sheet rock on walls; tape, and float/finish texture a plus.
Doors & Windows - build door cases, detach/reset doors and windows, replace hardware, etc.
Building Envelope - install house wrap, flashing, siding, soffit, etc.
Painting - paint walls, ceilings, doors, trim, etc.
Materials - knowledge with common materials used in the construction and repair of residential and commercial buildings.
Practices - familiarity with safety procedures on construction sites and common structural repair practices.

1. Productivity

Participates in mobile and in-house blood bank operations and maintains donor stations where designated on a regular rotation. Separates blood components, pools platelets, and thaws frozen plasma for transfusion. If applicable, performs noncomplex testing (i.e., sed rates) as well as directed testing (i.e., sweat testing) following SOPs.
Receives and organizes specimens. Independently prioritizes workload.

Sorts and tracks according to the appropriate performing laboratory, maintaining the integrity of the sample. If in Blood Bank, verifies label, boxes, ships and prepares documents for Recovered Plasma and filters Red Blood Cells to remove leukocytes.
2. Quality
Quality is paramount in all aspects of daily functions and work processes to include specimen preparation, assaying, and result reporting incompliance with established policies and procedures toward promoting high quality health care standards. Performs quality control, instrument maintenance and check procedures, and maintains accurate and complete records of daily activities.
Assists in care and maintenance of the laboratory work area and equipment.
3. Compliance
Demonstrates initiative in adapting to changes or unusual circumstances, especially those not covered by written or verbal instructions, in a way that promotes cooperation and minimizes disruption to the working environment.
Combines ethical judgment with technical skill within the policy and legal guidelines of the hospital and laboratory in decision making processes and in the performance of procedures.
Observes and adheres to all departmental and hospital policies and procedures, and follows all safety, quality assurance, and infection control standards.
4. Teamwork / Customer Service
Coordinates, plans, and utilizes time efficiently in an effort to prioritize and organize duties while remaining flexible to meet the needs of the laboratory service customers. Maintains an inventory of supplies in work areas and requests and orders supplies as necessary to ensure efficient departmental operations and avoid duplication of energy and services whenever possible.
Acts as an intermediary between clients, physicians and laboratory technologists in order to obtain additional specimen information that is crucial to the accuracy of test results. What you'll do…
We are looking to hire a detailed-oriented, driven, and resourceful Microgrid Mechanical Technician to assume responsibilities for multiple Microgrid generators. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of performing maintenance on power generation equipment, electrical experience as a plus. The entry-level Microgrid Mechanical Technician will coordinate with Area Managers to ensure generators are maintained, serviced, and operate for customer requirements for on demand electricity. Job Description
The Railcar RepairTechnician conducts all aspects of repair and maintenance on tank cars. This person must demonstrate good leadership and team skills while being a safety-conscious person.
* Railcar Repair - always uses current repair procedures. Conducts railcar inspections to ensure cars are in compliance and performs repairs as necessary.
* Customer Support - Meets the expectations and requirements of all customers to ensure their satisfaction of work.
* Clerical - ensures that all necessary invoicing, inspection, work order information is complete.
* Maintains all certifications, complete and maintain required certifications, demonstrates strong familiarity with AAR rules and regulations.

General Requirements:
* High school diploma or GED required.
* Must have mechanical aptitude, ability to problem-solve and to make decisions. Ability to use hand tools (such as pipe wrenches, pry bars, wrenches, ratchets, and other equipment to chip and grind weld slag or spatter).

1. Productivity
Determines blood donor eligibility by performing related testing, evaluating donor/patient medical history, assisting physicians with special tests and procedures, recruiting blood donors, and completing appropriate records pertaining to donations in a manner that ensures donor confidentiality. Participates in mobile and in-house blood bank operations and maintains donor stations where designated on a regular rotation. Separates blood components, pools platelets, and thaws frozen plasma for transfusion. Visits patients who have received blood during surgery in order to inform them about the hospital blood donation program.
If applicable, performs noncomplex testing (i.e., sed rates) as well as directed testing (i.e., sweat testing) following SOPs.
Receives and organizes specimens. Independently prioritizes workload.
Investigates and takes responsibility for proper identification of each specimen. Processes specimens according to procedures (may involve centrifuging and aliquoting specimens). Sorts and tracks according to the appropriate performing laboratory, maintaining the integrity of the sample. If in Blood Bank, verifies label, boxes, ships and prepares documents for Recovered Plasma and filters Red Blood Cells to remove leukocytes.
2. Quality
Quality is paramount in all aspects of daily functions and work processes to include specimen preparation, assaying, and result reporting incompliance with established policies and procedures toward promoting high quality health care standards. Performs quality control, instrument maintenance and check procedures, and maintains accurate and complete records of daily activities.
Assists in care and maintenance of the laboratory work area and equipment.
3. Compliance
Demonstrates initiative in adapting to changes or unusual circumstances, especially those not covered by written or verbal instructions, in a way that promotes cooperation and minimizes disruption to the working environment.
Combines ethical judgment with technical skill within the policy and legal guidelines of the hospital and laboratory in decision making processes and in the performance of procedures.
Observes and adheres to all departmental and hospital policies and procedures, and follows all safety, quality assurance, and infection control standards.
4. Teamwork / Customer Service
Coordinates, plans, and utilizes time efficiently in an effort to prioritize and organize duties while remaining flexible to meet the needs of the laboratory service customers. Maintains an inventory of supplies in work areas and requests and orders supplies as necessary to ensure efficient departmental operations and avoid duplication of energy and services whenever possible.
Acts as an intermediary between clients, physicians and laboratory technologists in order to obtain additional specimen information that is crucial to the accuracy of test results.
