Ecolab is seeking a Field Service Technician II - Install where your hands-on skills and customer-first mindset will help shape a more sustainable future. How You'll Make an Impact:
* Deliver expert service and support for cooling tower cleaning and water disinfection
* Provide technical support and escalate complex challenges as needed
* Build strong relationships with customers and promote best practices
* Ensure full compliance with safety policies and procedures
* Execute required chemistry tests, log and report data, and maintain product inventories at customer accounts
* Provide routine service support to Sales Representatives in strategic district accounts to execute agreed upon customer system assurance plans
* Provide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer pain points, escalating as required
* Install, calibrate, and maintain chemical feed equipment and process monitoring equipment at customer accounts
Position Details:
* This position will be based in Decatur, IL
* The territory for this position covers a 60 mile radius
* Targeted accounts are within the manufacturing industries
* Up to 5% overnight travel
* Shift: Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm (may include occasional nights and weekends)

Minimum Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range
The pay range for this position is $46,300 - $69,500. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.

You will be trained how to do the job of a wheel technician in our paid, two-week program. Training IS NOT conducted in your area. Training is done OUT OF TOWN with one of our senior technicians in Cedar Rapids, IA;. Hotel expenses are paid, as well as a meal reimbursements up to $75/week on your first paycheck..
As stated, this is a position in which traveling is a requirement for training you will need to use your personal vehicle to meet with the training technician. After training, You do not need to use your personal vehicle, except to get to and from the storage facility the truck and trailer unit is stored at. You will be traveling to the different cities that are on the scheduled route in our mobile units; all equipment and supplies are provided. You may also occasionally be asked to assist our other techs in one of our 6 routes located in Eastern Iowa and Central Illinois. Reimbursement is provided for gas. The company also pays for any overnight stays outside of the territory area.

Job Description
The Railcar RepairTechnician conducts all aspects of repair and maintenance on tank cars. This person must demonstrate good leadership and team skills while being a safety-conscious person.
* Railcar Repair - always uses current repair procedures. Conducts railcar inspections to ensure cars are in compliance and performs repairs as necessary.
* Customer Support - Meets the expectations and requirements of all customers to ensure their satisfaction of work.
* Clerical - ensures that all necessary invoicing, inspection, work order information is complete.
* Maintains all certifications, complete and maintain required certifications, demonstrates strong familiarity with AAR rules and regulations.
