Description: The Service Technician is responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while performing on-site diagnostic, troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of gate and door systems. Required Education and Experience: Overhead door, CCTV, gate operator, electrical or welding experience a must at least 2-3 years' experience. Education and/or experience equivalent to a High School diploma and 3 or more years working with gate operators, electronic controls, or other low-voltage electrical systems, or similar trade-related experience. Associates degree or vocational program with a focus on electro-mechanical systems preferred. Familiarity with basic welding principles is preferred. Must have at least 2-3 years of installation/service field-related experience working on-site at customer locations and interacting with customers. OSHA 10-Hour Certification preferred. Familiarity with EPA UST/AST regulations, SPCC plans, and related environmental compliance programs. Worked with or around fuel system components, such as tank monitors (e.g., Veeder-Root), sensors, sumps, and leak detection systems. Knowledge of or certification in compliance testing procedures, such as SIR (Statistical Inventory Reconciliation), pressure testing, or cathodic protection evaluation. Prior experience preparing regulatory documentation and test reports for internal records or government submission. Comfortable using compliance testing equipment, including line testers, pressure gauges, conductivity meters, or LLD test kits. Background in fieldwork or site visits, often requiring independent scheduling and time management. Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve compliance deficiencies. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to fuel systems, vapor hazards, and confined space entry.
