Job purpose
We are looking for a Field Heavy Equipment Mechanic to Join our growing team and help drive our customer service goals and objectives in the Field. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Field Heavy Equipment service and support, have a commitment to Safety and desire to provide first class customer service.
Duties and responsibilities
* Ensures a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures. Maintains a clean, organized work are free from Safety issues and concerns.
* Utilizes a variety of techniques and tools to inspect, assess, diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic malfunctions on a variety of heavy equipment applications
* Maintains accurate reports and information on equipment and repairs to ensure accurate billing and service logs.
* Overhauls and tests machines or equipment to ensure operating efficiency
* Tests mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturer's specifications
* Brings to the attention of the shop manager any additional work required on unit or visible signs of damage including out of service conditions and safety hazards.
* Cleans, lubricates, and performs preventative maintenance work on equipment and vehicles as required
* Keeps abreast of all changes in various models of equipment sold and serviced by the distributors to maintain and upgrade technical competencies and knowledge through in-house and external training sources.
* Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
* Must have a CDL B License
* High School diploma and graduation from an accredited technical school in diesel engine/hydraulics/heavy equipment repair preferred but not required.
* Experience as a Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic required.
* Must have own tools.
* Volvo and/or other dealership or industry experience preferred.
* Skill in the use of a variety of diagnostic testing and tuning equipment.
* Working experience with computer systems and maintenance software preferred
* Advanced technical software application understanding with relevant industry experience highly desired.
* Strong organizational and customer service skills to ensure high level customer service
* Ability to work overtime when required
* Have excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Working conditions
* Lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and/or pulling; climbing and balancing; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant finger dexterity necessary.

Serco supports the US IMCOM Army Child & Youth Services (CYS) Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) to include the equipment within the server rack. Our team upgrades, maintains and provides support to the Functional Technology Specialists (FTS), building directors, and staff on site to allow them to perform their mission successfully.
You will be part of a team where you will work on a team supporting the upgrade of the video management system (VMS) at DoD facilities Worldwide. We are looking for individuals that can work with a team to set up and configure the VMS and the ability to analyze and resolve technical issues related to the VMS system. You will work closely with Engineers, Project Leads, and Project Engineers.
In this role you will:
As a Pre-Installation and Test Check-Out (PITCO) Field Service Engineer II, you will work with a team of other technicians performing IT systems lab configuration and testing on a modernized IT system for U.S. Army installations worldwide.
This work involves installing closed-circuit television, desktop computing systems and peripherals, cabling (including termination) and rack-mounted equipment for U.S. Army installations world-wide. Your position may be assisted by other technicians, and you will have frequent contact with professionals and others within the establishment; you will perform typical duties as follows:
+ Review documents in ServiceNow
+ Apply asset tags to hardware
+ Work with warehouse personnel to transfer equipment to/from PITCO
+ Update asset management database
+ Configure hardware
+ Stage, power up, and interconnect hardware
+ Install software image and apply settings
+ Analyze and resolve technical issues related to VMS end points
+ Monitor the burn in of hardware
+ Complete test plans and checklist
+ Strong troubleshooting skills with hardware and software video management systems and network devices.

**Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will have:
+ High School Degree or GED equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer (or equivalent work experience).
+ 1 years of experience with installation ofclosed-circuit television, video management systems, Windows server and Windows 11 operating systems, and Internet Protocol networking.
+ Able to pass a National Agency Check (NACI).
+ Maybe required to travel for work and be able to work outside of normal business hours up to 10%.
+ A U.S. Citizen.

Medical Equipment Technicians are responsible for ensuring safe delivery, providing setup, and education in usage of home medical equipment for our customers. Setup is done in their home, long-term care setting, clinic or any location deemed necessary to service patients.

Minimum Job Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalency
Entry level sales, customer service background essential
One (1) year of Military, delivery driver with sales component or health care technician experience would be

Senior level requires two (2) years of work-related experience and one (1) year of exact job experience.
Valid and unrestricted driver's license in the state of residence
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
