What you'll be doing:
Troubleshoot sources of equipment problems through observation and use of precision measuring and testing instruments.
Assist other maintenance personnel with emergency and non-emergency repairs.
Troubleshoot and repair Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's) and associated control systems.
Follow blueprints, schematics, operation manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.

Performing basic welding activities to effect repairs on facilities and equipment.
Inspect, clean and lubricate shafts, bearings gears and other equipment parts in accordance with work procedures and technical manual.
Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System.
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
What we're looking for:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Two-year technical degree in an appropriate background is preferred.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Knowledgeable in industrial maintenance of facilities and equipment.
Minimum of 1 year of work experience repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment required. Applicable military experience will be considered.
Must pass UniFirst's maintenance knowledge assessment to be eligible for employment.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics is required.
Ability to read and understand maintenance literature printed in English required.
Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills is required.
Lockout / Tagout experience is required
Ability to work overtime as needed is required.
Valid driver's license and a safe driving record are required.

Three or more years proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Prior experience with high and low pressure compressors, chillers, water treatment, boilers is preferred

Utilizes various diagnostic equipment and measuring devices such as voltmeters, calipers, micrometers, and oscilloscopes.
Supports and participates in the Company's management and quality system including continuous improvement efforts.
Experience: 2+ years' equipment maintenance technician in an automated assembly production environment
Education: High School or Equivalent
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Ability to operate / diagnose a variety of automated assembly production equipment within an electronics assembly (PLC's, sensing, robots pick/place).
Extensive knowledge of electro-mechanical equipment operating under PLC's, robotics, machining, pneumatics, hydraulics, and sensor controls.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills with strong time and project management skills.
Basic PC skills (Microsoft Office, Word and Excel). Familiarity with computerized PM program preferred.
Preventative maintenance experience with exposure to computer software and systems.
Ongoing ability to compete high level mechanical diagnostic, calibration, set-up and repair duties as required.
Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic functions.

Essential Responsibilities
REQUIRES 5+ Years direct experience with AGILENT/KEYSIGHT 3070 in-circuit test experience to..
Perform visual inspection and electrical testing of all ICT failures. Identifies the root cause of the failure based on ICT output file and multi-meter/bridge readings.
Identify soldering issues with the ICT failed boards based on knowledge of IPC-610 Nidec Mobility Quality Standards.
Fixes the issues identified or instruct inspectors on how to fix the issue.
Records the failure reason in the ICT test database.
Setup ICT machine to run failed boards.
Analyzes ICT first-pass yield and final yield using automated reports from ICT database and recommends corrective action to ICT technicians.
Generate excel reports on a weekly basis about overall ICT rework work-in-process level.
Maintain clean and organized work area at all times. Completes daily area clean up at the end of shift
May participate in cross-training activities with other related positions
Support / Participate in the Company's management and quality system including continuous improvement efforts
Notify supervisors, group leaders or technicians of any problems or nonconforming product
Support/Implement the Environmental policy as it pertains to work activities
Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the activities enumerated above
