As a Geek Squad Advanced Repair Technician (Agent), you'll work at our local Best Buy store to provide technology support and repair customers' computers and other devices. You'll provide excellent customer experiences by listening to their needs and partnering with other Geek Squad Agents. You'll perform repairs by troubleshooting and following our procedures. What You'll Be Doing: Perform preventative maintenance on standby generator systems. Troubleshoot and repair gas and diesel engines. Repair and adjust transfer switches and perform major repairs on units. Install and test new generator units. Respond quickly to jobsites in case of emergency. Complete and submit work orders and reports in a timely manner. Prepare accurate quotes for repairs. Follow safety requirements, including proper use of PPE.
