As an IR Tech / Special Procedures Tech at Intermountain Health, you will play a vital role in supporting our imaging team, ensuring our patients receive the best care by:
Acquire, manipulate, and process computer enhanced and radiographic images unitizing Interventional Radiology equipment.
Communicate with patients obtaining informed consents, pertinent clinical history and ensuring optimal results.
Collaborate and plan with Radiologist, referring physicians and technologists for the selection of procedural protocols.
Assist in the coordination of patient care activities.
Provide appropriate tray set-ups and perform surgical scrub procedures utilizing a thorough knowledge of sterile technique.
Perform IV contrast injections, starts IVs and monitor patients under conscious sedation per hospital policy.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines and requirements.
Demonstrate age related care skills as defined by unit patient population.
Minimum Qualifications IR Tech / Special Procedures Tech
Graduate on an AMA-approved radiologic technology program
Current ARRT (R) credential
Demonstrated knowledge of cross-sectional and vascular anatomy and skill in recognition of normal and abnormal variants
Demonstrated knowledge of radiation safety
Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or the ability to obtain within two (2) months of hire
Current ACLS certification or the ability to obtain within six (6) months of hire
Current RTRCV certification or the ability to obtain
Current VIR certification or the ability to obtain within twenty-four (24) months of hire
Preferred Qualifications IR Tech / Special Procedures Tech
Previous experience as a staff technologist
At least one (1) year of experience in vascular/interventional imaging, preferred
Minimum Qualifications Specialty Technologist in Training ($32.02 - 49.44/hr)
An American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R) technologist who is currently attending and receiving formal training from an accredited training program or successful completion of formal training from an approved/accredited school or a licensed American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R) technologist who has been selected to cross-train in another modality.
Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Duties and responsibilities

Qualifications
* Must have a CDL B License
* High School diploma and graduation from an accredited technical school in diesel engine/hydraulics/heavy equipment repair preferred but not required.
* Experience as a Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic required.

* Volvo and/or other dealership or industry experience preferred.
* Skill in the use of a variety of diagnostic testing and tuning equipment.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
This is a temporary, on-the-job training program, aimed at developing the skills necessary to be successful in our Electrical Lift Maintenance Technician positions.

Upon completion of this program, the individual will be eligible to apply for any available Electrical Lift Maintenance Technician positions. While engaging in this program, Service Members will continue to receive their entire military compensation package as if they were still serving.
In this program, individuals will gain a fundamental understanding of electrical lift maintenance principles, understand and interpret electrical schematics, and utilize programming software and the filing system efficiently. You will learn grasp wiring and circuit fundamentals, demonstrating proficiency in electrical terminology, and understanding and applying ANSI code standards.
Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma/GED equivalent.
At least 1 year of experience with installation and maintenance of AC and DC drives and PLC controls (Allen Bradley and ABB).
Demonstrated experience reading and interpreting complex control & safety circuits.
Valid driver's license with the ability to travel up to 80% of the time.
Ability to work in inclement weather in a mountainous environment at heights in excess of 20 feet.
Authorized to work in the United States of America.
Proficient in the English language.

What You'll Do:
Perform a variety of duties in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems; install, adjust, maintain, and repair electrical timers, electronic and hydraulic valves, and controllers.
Convert automobiles and other assigned equipment from standard production units to specialized City units as required; install decals and numbers on units; fabricate and install specialized equipment on units such as amplifiers, light bars, shotgun racks, cages, and overhead pipe racks.
Develop and install complex hydraulic systems on vehicles; determine the amount of pressure and flow needed to operate specialized equipment.
Perform wood and metal fabrication on special projects; determine materials needed and basic design; perform gas and electric welding.
Perform thorough diagnostic procedures on a variety of complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems through the use of visual inspections and specialized testing equipment and devices.

Medical Equipment Technician
Medical Equipment Technicians are responsible for ensuring safe delivery, providing setup, and education in usage of home medical equipment for our customers. Setup is done in their home, long-term care setting, clinic or any location deemed necessary to service patients.
Job Duties:
Develop and maintain working knowledge of current HME products and services offered by the company and all
applicable governmental regulations.
Comply with all applicable company policies and procedures.
Educate customers in proper use and care of respiratory and HME equipment in a home setting.
Complete required documentation following equipment setup, delivery or pickups as required.
Assist with customer equipment problems under emergency conditions.
Process all orders in a timely, accurate manner.
Promote services and products to referral sources in the community as appropriate.
Develop basic reimbursement knowledge and completely document all information necessary to ensure
reimbursement for all appropriate equipment, products, and services.
Assist with implementation of quality improvement program to meet company policies.
Maintain home oxygen systems through regularly scheduled visits to customers.
Safely drive and maintain company vehicle.
Perform patient assessment and re-assessment for patient care.
Perform routine preventative maintenance and simple repairs on equipment as required in accordance with
company policies.
Report equipment hazards and/or product incidents as required in accordance with company policies and
procedures.
Develop and maintain working knowledge of current HME products and services offered by the company.
Assume on-call responsibilities during non-business hours in accordance with company policy.
Retain knowledge of and consistently adhere to procedures for the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE),
infection control and hazardous materials handling.
Maintain patient confidentiality and function within the guidelines of HIPAA.
Completes assigned compliance training and other educational programs as required.
Maintains compliant with AdaptHealth's Compliance Program
Responsible for cleaning equipment when assigned by supervisor or down time allows, following the Branch
Maintenance and Cleaning Guidelines
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Job Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalency
Entry level sales, customer service background essential
One (1) year of Military, delivery driver with sales component or health care technician experience would be
considered related experience and preferred.
Senior level requires two (2) years of work-related experience and one (1) year of exact job experience.
Valid and unrestricted driver's license in the state of residence
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Must be able to stretch, bend, stoop and crouch and perform moderate to heavy physical labor while moving equipment and supplies.

What you can expect as a Plating Technician at West Star:
Our Cad Plating technicians are responsible for plating and coating processes, specifically related to landing gear components for the MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) industry. In this role, you'll apply cutting edge finishes to aircraft parts while ensuring compliance with stringent industry standards, regulatory guidelines, and company policies. Safety is paramount, so you'll need to be well versed in the handling of hazardous chemicals and use of personal protective equipment (PPE). As a key player on our plating team you will support and execute various plating and coating operations, contributing to our overall departmental and organizational goals all under the guidance of a dedicated Plating Team Leader.
You will be ESSENTIAL to many FUNCTIONS including:
Inspecting, cleaning, preparing, and setting-up parts Passivation
Inspecting, cleaning, processing and recording parts for Cadmium plating
Maintaining chemistry for processing baths and testing processes
Maintaining calibration for required equipment and tooling
Must have basic electrical knowledge including, electrical circuitry, positive/negative, anode/cathode placement, AC/DC power supplies, rectifiers, and have experience working with hazardous chemicals and acids.
Must have a proven safety record and experience with PPE used in plating with hazardous chemicals.
Assist in adding chemicals to the plating baths to ensure proper balances are maintained.
Analyze problems with Chrome, Nickel, and Cadmium and be able to provide corrective actions to remedy problems.
Perform the required tasks associated with Plating and Coating processes. This will include abrasive cleaning, masking, racking, plating, data entry and heat treatment.
Chemical mixing, pumping, and transferring.
Light maintenance and cleaning of area, equipment and tooling daily.
Repairing or coordination of repair of equipment as necessary.
Maintaining preventive maintenance schedules for equipment/tooling/chemistries.
Inspect processed parts and ensure they meet quality standards.
