Liaise with supervision in the event products are forecast to be beyond economic repair. • Monitor and implement CSD actions and change notices to upgrade customer equipment as required • Recognize repeat failures within repairs and highlight trends to production engineering and supervision • Ensure all equipment is within calibration and appropriate safety certifications (PAT) prior to use • Maintain the job status on our IT systems including T-Card and ERP • Produce test and repair customer documentation • Provide updates to Customer Services Department on customers' equipment repair status, & repair costing • Apply ‘5S' and LEAN manufacturing techniques to the workplace • Report any difficulties/problems/concerns to the Supervisor. • Conduct other Product Technical Services tasks as requested by the Supervisor • Understand and comply with Company and departmental policies and procedures QUALIFICATIONS: Aptitude or experience working with electronics, soldering techniques (IPC 610, J-STD or similar), electrical test equipment, and/or electrical testing. Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Enrolled in or will be completing a 2-4 year Technical Degree program or technical school certification. Preferably in electronics, electrical engineering technology, electrical testing, or a related field. Minimum 3-5+ years experience in the test, troubleshooting and repair of digital, analog and RF circuits to the component level. Knowledge of RF circuit theory preferred.
