What you'll be doing:
Utilize hand/power tools, precision measurement tools, and electronic testing devices.
Ensure safe operation of machinery, mechanical electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and components.
Follow blueprints, schematics, operation manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.
Troubleshoot sources of equipment problems through observation and use of precision measuring and testing instruments.
Perform boiler chemical and wastewater pre-treatment system testing, record results in logbooks / computer systems and make necessary chemical adjustments as required
Perform daily and weekly safety checks on boilers and make necessary repairs as required.
Record and analyze meter readings of utilities in long and take corrective actions when necessary.
Perform daily and weekly location/system safety checks and follow up to address concerns.
Inspect motor, belts, fluid levels, replace filters and perform other maintenance actions in accordance with maintenance procedures.
Inspect, clean and lubricate shafts, bearings gears and other equipment parts in accordance with work procedures and technical manual.
Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System.
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
What we're looking for:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Two-year technical degree in an appropriate background is preferred.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver's license and a safe driving record are required.
Knowledgeable in maintenance equipment.
Minimum of 6 months' work experience repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment is required. Applicable military experience will be considered.
Must pass UniFirst's maintenance knowledge assessment test to be eligible for employment.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics is required.
Ability to read and understand maintenance literature printed in English is required.
Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills is required.
Lockout / Tagout experience is required
Ability to work overtime as needed is required.
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.

The successful candidate will perform routine underground mining/operation assignments related to maintaining integrity and stability of underground openings in contaminated and high contaminated areas. Summary:
The primary responsibility for the Equipment Technician position is collecting, analyzing, and reporting the health of rotating equipment based on multiple technologies including vibration, thermography, oil analysis, pump and motor performance, compressor and engine performance and key operating parameters. * Develop and maintain vibration analysis program. Establish equipment routes and frequency. Collect and enter equipment data necessary for proper vibration analysis.
* Proficient with rotating and/or reciprocating equipment analysis techniques and perform as required
* Proficient with motor and/or engine analysis techniques and perform as required
* Develop and maintain lube oil analysis program establishing routes and frequency
* Periodic (monthly, quarterly, etc.) data acquisition from equipment, including vibration data with portable systems, critical machinery performance metrics (flow rates, equipment rotating speed, temperatures, and process flow characteristics) and lube oil samples and analysis
* Perform analysis of data to resolve or proactively anticipate equipment failures
* Lead and/or assist in root cause failure analysis utilizing the TapRoot process
* Implements continuous monitoring systems, such as alarm, report, and acceptance regions
* Coordinate scheduling of repairs by taking ownership of notifications and corresponding follow-up
* Monitor equipment repairs in the field and at vendor shops

Full-time Hourly Position ranging from $19.00 - $23.00 DOE plus benefits.

Position Purpose: The Facilities Technician will perform a wide range of semi-skilled tasks to maintain, repair, construct, and remodel facilities and equipment such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, light equipment operation, carpentry, masonry, and painting.

Essential Duties and Functions/Responsibilities/Tasks:
Work under direction of the Facilities Manager/Supervisor.
Maintain a high level of positivity and professionalism with guests, team members, and external partners.
Respond to work orders and perform routine facilities maintenance.
Maintain facility equipment as indicated by the preventative maintenance plan.
Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions.
As directed, conduct regular building and facilities general maintenance including basic electrical, plumbing, painting, drywall, tile, and landscaping.
Repairing and treating structures such as floors, sinks, showers, walls, windows, carpets, roofs, locks, and drains.
Ensure that all work activities conform to all safety, sanitation, and health regulations and policies.
May include maintenance of pools, spas, and hot tubs.
Other duties as assigned consistent with the functions of this position as needed at any of the properties.
