Principal Duties/Responsibilities:

· High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
· Associates degree with a Technical focus or 18 months of related experience in general industry or successful completion of the ATS Technician Progression Program.
· Understanding of basic electrical and mechanical systems. Can perform repairs.

Principal Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a working knowledge and skill necessary to operate, maintain, trouble-shoot and repair HVAC systems for Springfield Clinic properties.
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance and repairs to HVAC systems.
Perform routine installations, inspections, testing, maintenance, repairs and record keeping associated with all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection systems and equipment.
Perform routine light carpentry and repairs to assist in maintaining a high quality appearance for all Clinic properties, grounds, equipment and furniture.
Participate in the Facilities Management training program to enhance technical skills and overall safety in the workplace.
Participate in emergency "on-call' assignments as requested.
Comply with the Springfield Clinic incident reporting policy and procedures.
Adhere to all OSHA and Springfield Clinic training & accomplishments as required per policy.

Compensation & Benefits:
The salary range for this role, in Champaign, IL, is between $59,200 - $101,400 annually. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

Repair technician job in Bloomington, IL
As a Geek Squad Advanced Repair Technician (Agent), you'll work at our local Best Buy store to provide technology support and repair customers' computers and other devices. You'll provide excellent customer experiences by listening to their needs and partnering with other Geek Squad Agents. You'll perform repairs by troubleshooting and following our procedures. If you're passionate about technology and ready to leverage your technical abilities to help customers get the most out of their tech, this might be the perfect role for you.
What you'll do
Perform diagnostic discoveries, make recommendations, repair devices and help customers both in-person and over the phone
Establish and maintain consistent rhythms for timely follow-up and ensure expectations are met or exceeded
Partner with other team members to maintain consistent and accurate documentation of customer requests and repairs
Ensure all repair tasks are completed in a timely manner and partner with leaders when issues arise
Maintain knowledge, skillsets and certifications through training courses
Basic qualifications
6 months of experience diagnosing, troubleshooting or repairing technology products
Experience actively using and learning about consumer electronics
Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends
Preferred qualifications
Strong ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
