Chemist Operations Technician The Chemist Operations Technician position will be responsible for all production, blending, loading, and unloading of all plant chemicals. They will need to understand and operate all plant processes and procedures while keeping a safe and clean working environment. Job Summary This position is responsible for monitoring, controlling, and optimizing chemical manufacturing processes using distributed control systems (DCS) and related automation platforms. This role ensures safe, efficient, and compliant plant operations while coordinating closely with field operators, engineering, and maintenance teams. While the position is primarily based in the control room, regular hands-on involvement in plant operations is expected, including time spent in process areas while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE). Candidates may qualify through prior control room/industrial operations experience or through a chemistry-based background with applicable process knowledge.
