Repair technician job in Ogden, UT
Responsible for completing Angiography procedures, some advanced imaging procedures, embolization, thrombectomies, PTA/stenting.
Essential Functions
.
Provides procedural assistance as a circulating tech, scrub tech, or monitoring tech, according to Angio lab policies and procedures and Scope of Practice documents.
Ensures proper patient identification, order verification, and prepares the patient for the exam.
Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe working environment for patients and staff.
Develops specific knowledge about invasive, diagnostic, and interventional supplies, appropriate indications and applications, and proper use and deployment techniques.
Follows appropriate protocol for medical necessity, coding and charging, obtaining necessary consents, maintaining applicable QC (Quality Control) programs, and reporting any equipment failures or problems.
Provides appropriate patient education, ensures patient comfort, and address patient and/or family concerns.
Keeps accurate records of patient information, procedures performed, and any adverse reactions or incidents.
Coordinates patient care and communicates pertinent information to other patient care providers following procedure.
At the end of the procedure, suture the sheath in place, or remove the sheath and apply pressure to obtain hemostasis.
Performs advanced interventional procedures including ablation procedures, stents, thrombectomy, embolization.
Orient new angio staff, provide teaching, coaching, mentoring and provide direct supervision as a defined preceptor.
Proctors other staff including specialized equipment and procedural techniques.

Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will perform, and demonstrate your professional knowledge to provide care for our patients served in the Cath Lab department. What you'll do as a Repair Technician
Performs basic to intermediate level repairs of surgical instruments and maintenance including ultra sonic function, metallurgy, buff and polish, bending, shaping, sharpening, hinge points, serrations, and brazing.
Demonstrates quality performance in intermediate skilled work including advance Dremel operation, Re-cup and Re-jaw, laparoscopic inspection.
Provides invoicing and documentation based on business need.
While primarily working inside a mobile repair truck, frequent trips inside the hospital are required.
Provide support various locations within assigned territory depending on the service agreements, Customer needs, and staffing levels.
Abides by all Company safety, health policies, and procedures. Uses personal protective equipment, as required. Completes Safety observations per site requirements.
Adheres and complies with all protocols (DOT, company and Customer) for the safe operation of the mobile lab including policies and procedures relative to the position.
The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed
Required:
High school diploma or GED
2+ years of work experience, including at least 1 year of relevant experience, or 1 year of experience at STERIS. All experience must be verifiable.
Related certifications in technical or mechanical area, competitive equipment training or related military experience may be considered towards experience requirement.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times and push instrument carts ranging from 10-150 pounds at times.
Must be able to meet flexible schedules with early/late hours and sometimes outside normal business hours including nights and weekends, based on Customer and business needs.
Must be a minimum of 21 years old with ability to achieve and maintain FMCSA and drivers license requirements.
Must be able to pass a DOT medical/ physical exam, comply with all DOT regulations and conduct basic box truck safety checks.
Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record (CDL not required) and maintain required vaccines.

Position Summary:
The Facility Maintenance Technician is accountable for conducting routine maintenance tasks, including landscaping, carpentry, painting, and basic equipment and facility repairs. Reporting directly to the Facilities Supervisor, you will ensure the upkeep of our facilities under their supervision.
Performance Objectives:
Ensure the upkeep of grounds and facility by adhering to all Roberts Resorts policies, rules, and regulations.
Conduct ongoing preventative maintenance tasks to maintain the resort's functionality and appearance.
Perform minor electrical work, including changing light bulbs, in accordance with safety standards.
Ensure readiness of the resort for usage by completing work orders in a timely manner.
Address plumbing issues such as removing clogs from drains and fixing leaks to maintain proper facility functionality.
Engage in landscaping duties including lawn mowing, weed removal, and brush clearing to enhance the appearance of the grounds.
Maintain tools and maintenance equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and ready for use.
Work independently on assigned tasks, demonstrating self-reliance and efficiency in completing duties.
Comply with all health, safety, and OSHA standards to maintain a safe working environment.
Fulfill any other related duties as assigned to support the overall maintenance needs of the resort.
Requirements

Facility Maintenance Expertise: Experienced in all aspects of grounds and facility maintenance, including repair of amenities and various utility systems. Capable of prioritizing tasks and following up on completed work to ensure the upkeep of the facility
Compliance and Safety: Thorough understanding and adherence to health, safety, and OSHA standards in all maintenance activities. Proficient in the safe use of equipment and proper handling of hazardous chemicals, ensuring the safety of oneself and others
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in facility maintenance or related field preferred.
Familiarity with common maintenance tools and equipment.
Knowledge of health, safety, and OSHA standards preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
Physical Requirements:
Constantly stand, walk, push, pull, lift grasp, bend and kneel; Frequently use arms and hands
Manual dexterity for using facility equipment
Clear vision and hearing to communicate effectively
Capability to lift up and carry up to 20 pounds

• Develop advance examination techniques of materials in accordance with procedures, codes, standards, and specifications. • Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the methods for which qualified and exercise assigned responsibility for OJT and guidance of trainees
• Interface with department managers and clients to determine scope of work and work priorities in order to meet customer expectations.
• Be able to prepare written instructions and to organize and report the results of examinations.
• Work independently and support team members. Perform other job related tasks as needed and assigned by supervisors.
• Administer examinations (written and practical) and providing training to Level II Technicians and Trainees.
Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management
Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections . Knowledge of NDT equipment . High School Diploma or equivalent Requirements . Complete and pass a DISA Background check .
Complete and pass all required Drug Screens . Complete and pass site specific safety council . MUST TEST OUT IN ALL REQUIRED METHODS WITH XCEL
Qualifications
• Level III UT with PAUT certification required.
• 5+ years of UT/PAUT experience.
• Travel required.
• Additional NDT Level III preferred (MT/PT/ET/VT/RT - CR/DR) - Meet the minimum requirements of an NDT Level III Technician; provide documentation of education, training, and experience in the applicable NDT method(s); have a working knowledge of industrial environments and general manufacturing processes; ability to effectively communicate with other departments, and customers to report issues and solve problems.

Work Conditions/Physical Requirements:
Move, carry and lift objects in excess of 50 pounds
Climb and perform work from ladders, stairs and scaffolding in excess of 100 feet, continuously throughout shift
Be able to climb ladders and platforms up to 250 feet with a harness and lanyard
Be able to step up into vehicles or onto equipment
Work extended hours and stand for extended periods of time
