The Technician is a heavy equipment mechanic that specializes in maintaining and repairing cranes. This position may perform routine maintenance, like lubricating parts, as well as fixing other problems when the crane malfunction. The Technician position work in a safety-first type of environment. HCSG is a 24/7 service company that requires technicians to be available on-call and provide after hour or even weekend services as required due to customer needs. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Must be able to be on-call and provide after hour services as required. * Troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, and upgrading industrial hoists and cranes in the field at customer locations. * Perform OSHA required hoist and crane inspections and generating inspection reports and repair orders. * Communicate with the Service Manager and Branch Manager during the day so that work can be scheduled and completed on a daily basis. * Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles in a safe and responsible manner. Job Description Operations Technician This position is responsible for day-to-day operations and maintenance of natural gas, condensate, produced water and gathering systems. Purging/pressurizing equipment and pipelines. Performing pipeline patrols. Performing gas leakage surveys. Locating and marking underground pipelines and monitor construction activity along the ROW. As a Geek Squad Advanced Repair Technician (Agent), you'll work at our local Best Buy store to provide technology support and repair customers' computers and other devices. You'll provide excellent customer experiences by listening to their needs and partnering with other Geek Squad Agents. You'll perform repairs by troubleshooting and following our procedures. This position is responsible for providing excellent on-site pool cleaning and pool maintenance services to each and every customer they are assigned. This includes following our proven pool cleaning methods and handling pool chemicals in a controlled and safe manner. This position is also responsible for diagnosing issues with the swimming pool equipment and providing solutions. This includes following our proven process for diagnosing issues, successfully communicating alternative solutions to the customer, completing the solution in an efficient manner and following all established protocols and sharing lessons learned with the rest of our team. The ideal person for this position will love to work outdoors. They will be a self- starter who has the ability to work independently with minimal oversight and guidance. They will handle all matters with integrity and embrace the concept and requirements of delivering "resort-quality service". Responsibilities: Success in this position will be determined by the following measurable results: Manage a swimming pool route that includes cleaning of swimming pools each week and manage a daily schedule of equipment repair tasks; The ability to manage a stocking of chemicals on the truck and properly adjust the water chemistry for each pool each week. Repair of pool pumps, heaters, filters, timers, pool cleaners, blowers, lights, automated pool systems, chlorinators, backwash valves, PVC plumbing, copper plumbing, and galvanized plumbing Knowledge of 110 volt and 220 volt electrical equipment (preferred, not required) The ability to manage an inventory of equipment on the truck and properly utilize and replenish the inventory when needed. The ability to utilize a smart phone for our mobile platform. The ability to spot opportunities outside of the repair call, such as upgrading other equipment or adding to the customer experience with other products.
