What You'll Do as an Apartment Maintenance Technician:
We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician who is hands-on, technically skilled, and ready to lead a service team at a high-volume community. In this role, you will:
· Lead, train, and guide maintenance staff throughout daily operations
· Complete and oversee service requests to ensure timely, high-quality results
· Coordinate and assist with make-readies, upgrades, and maintenance schedules
· Ensure all work orders and unit turns are completed efficiently and accurately
· Participate in the on-call rotation as scheduled
· Maintain organized inventory and ensure proper use of tools/equipment
· Support the Property Manager with various maintenance projects and initiatives
· Uphold community standards for safety, cleanliness, and resident satisfaction

What We're Looking For:
To be successful in this role, you MUST have:
· Minimum 3 Years of Previous Experience as a Lead Maintenance Technician in multifamily housing REQUIRED (including team supervision)
· Valid HVAC Certification REQUIRED
· Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation
· Stable work history
· A personal set of basic hand tools
· Proven ability to coach, train, and lead service technicians
· Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and time-management skills
· Willingness to participate in on-call rotation
· Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.

Position Summary:

In this position, you will be responsible for a variety of service-related functions, including the repair, maintenance, and performance verification of assigned products, including demo equipment and instruments returned from customers.

Compensation & Benefits:
This full-time, non-exempt position comes with a comprehensive benefits package. In your first year, you will receive 10 paid vacation days, 8 paid personal days, 8 paid scheduled holidays and 3 paid floating holidays (Residents of California and Puerto Rico will receive state-mandated sick leave instead of personal days). After one year of employment, you will also be eligible for a generous short-term disability program with the company covering 100% of monthly premiums.
The starting salary range for this role is $75,000 to $77,000 annually, paid semi-monthly. As a non-exempt position, you will be eligible for overtime and double time pay, as outlined in our employee handbook. Additional variable compensation includes an incentive plan (10% of base salary) based on company and service performance, paid semi-annually in April and October. A year-end discretionary bonus may also be awarded based on overall company performance.
This position includes a company car with a fuel card (with a $55 per pay deduction for personal use) and a company-paid cell phone, which remains company property but can be used for personal purposes.
