About the Role
NSA is hiring a Field Service Technician who will be part of a fast-paced on-site maintenance and field service team. You will install, wire, connect, calibrate, analyze, troubleshoot, and maintain automated traffic enforcement systems, field WAN networks and surveillance equipment. Also, you will perform installations and maintenance of retail assets and IoT solutions such as digital signage displays, digital kiosks, and POS Systems. You will document, upgrade hardware and software systems as needed. You will be traveling independently to cities where you will work with subcontractors and engineering staff to install and maintain enforcement systems and retail assets in the field.
Responsibilities
Perform basic electrical work, wiring, and troubleshooting of electrical and data connectivity hook ups for various mechanical and electronic equipment.
Tuning/configuration of red-light camera and speed enforcement systems in the field.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of red-light camera and speed enforcement system issues.
Must be able to prioritize, comply with processes and quality checklists.
Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, assignments and report service data.
Must be able to organize, manage and safeguard truck stock, parts, and tools.
Effectively communicate with customers and subcontractors in the field, fostering a good working relationship.
Qualifications
Candidates must be 25 years of age.
Have a valid driver's license.
Be able to drive and operate a bucket truck.
Lift 50-75 lbs.
Operate hand and power tools.

Yancey's SkillBridge Technician Apprenticeship is a training program for U.S. Military Service Members within or nearing 180-days of separation from active duty. You will complete a structured learning program that builds skill sets to become a Heavy Equipment Diesel Technician at Yancey Bros. Co.
Topics will include:
Basic hydraulics, electronics, and engines
Business specific systems: SIS, ET, and Service Link
Business specific procedures: SLAM reports and Service Report writing
Yancey / CAT specific systems and repair procedures
About the Program:
Follow an outline of class material, hands-on training, and process / procedure experiences under the supervision of your mentor to prepare you for a career as a Heavy Equipment Diesel Technician.
Includes a structured task / accomplishment check-in cycle.
Education/Experience:
18 years of age or older.
The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.

Employee will be required to travel from time to time (20 50%) and must be willing to work various shifts to accommodate needs of HCSG branches and customers. This includes on-call and overtime. Travel out of town may be required at the discretion of the company.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is normally performed inside or outside (pending customer requirements) with varying degrees of extreme hot and cold temperatures depending on the weather. During summer months, temperatures can exceed 120 degrees. This position will be frequently exposed to noise, heights, fumes, dust, and odors.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* 0 - 2 years of crane experience in an industrial facility
* Must have a valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
* Must always commit to working and driving safely
