Complete truck unload and merchandise duties throughout the store. Help customers shop and find what they are looking for. Deliver friendly customer service.

Major Activities
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Company programs to ensure compliance to applicable laws and requirements; execute Company policies and standards Participate in truck un-load and stocking processes to ensure truck standards are followed and completed within budget Participate in the planogram process (POG's) in both SBA and seasonal to ensure they are complete timely and accurately Participate in the AD set process on scheduled SundaysAdhere to visual merchandising standards to ensure delivery of our brand promise to the customer Merchandise recovery and go-backs Help maintain seasonal sets and the feature space to our visual merchandising standards on a daily and weekly basis Provide a well merchandised and in-stock store for the customer to shop Acknowledge customers, help locate product and provide solutions Interacts with others in an accepting and respectful manner; remains positive and respectful, even in difficult situations; promotes commitment to the organization's vision and values; projects a positive image and serves as a role model for others Support shrink and safety programs Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) duties as assigned Operate cash register and line busting as assigned Assist with Omni channel processes Enroll customers in the Rewards program

Work Environment
Public retail store setting taking care of our customers; all public areas are climate controlled; some stock rooms may not be climate controlled; some outdoor work if assigned to retrieve shopping carts or while unloading trucks; Frame shop contains glass cutter and heat press; work hours include nights, weekends and early mornings

This Stock Associate Position Is For You, If You Would Enjoy:

General warehouse/distribution center duties to include but not limited to: picking orders, receiving freight, pricing product, ordering product, loading and unloading trucks, maintaining a clean work area. We have a management right clause that allows the Company to use any associate in any capacity to fill needs of the business.

Stock Associate Key Duties:
Protects all company assets in the warehouse including non-stock merchandise.
Provides a safe and clean environment for warehouse personnel.
Places stock orders as required.
Counts and receives incoming merchandise; reports shortages/overages to management in a timely manner, before required deadlines.
Counts and completes all appropriate paperwork for merchandise returns to vendors.
Provides ongoing stock replenishment to the sales floor.
Isolates, sorts, and organizes all damaged and outdated products for subsequent supplier credits and returns.
Organizes all merchandise for annual inventory.
Assists in inventory and reconciliation of inventory variances
Notify management of out of stock merchandise.
Assist in stocking of stores and backrooms. (where applicable)
Assist in trash removal and recycling.

Required Qualifications:
Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
Good time-management skills and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to multi-task.
Ability to lift 60 lbs
Able to work in environment exposed to the elements, both hot and cold.
Able to operate manual and electric pallet jack (preferred but not mandatory)
Ability to communicate effectively

Preferred Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Two to four years of previous warehouse experience.

    • Receives, counts and records shipment data into the system. Matches packing list information to actual packed merchandise. Prepares packages/merchandise for storage.
    • Record receiving data using computer.
    • Pack, unpack, and mark stock items, using identification tag, stamp, or electronic marking tool or other labeling equipment
    • Identify incorrect/short shipped items and immediately notify supervisor.
    • Deliver products, supplies, and equipment to designated area. May operate forklift or other machinery in order to complete tasks.
    • Verify computations against physical count of stock. Examine and inspect stock items for wear and defects.
    • Maintains condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.). Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same.
    • May perform order layout and make changes to carriers or picking method. Performs other duties as assigned.
      Nature and Scope
      • Refers complex, unusual problems to supervisor.
      • Under general supervision, exercises some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques. Work typically involves regular review of output by a senior coworker or supervisor.

        Work Environment
        • Typically located in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors that may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness, such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes.
        • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in a physical environment. Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes. Ability to make repetitive movements, such as using a 10-key or calculator, bending, or squatting.
        • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
          Education and Experience
          • HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. Specialized skills training/certification may be required. Generally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.
