Job Responsibilities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the General Contractor and end-user markets Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships Estimate, quote, and close fire sprinkler installation, retrofit, and construction service projects Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, and industry involvement Conduct site visits to assess fire sprinkler system requirements and propose compliant, cost-effective solutions Provide technical guidance to customers regarding fire sprinkler systems, life safety solutions, and NFPA and AHJ requirements Collaborate with internal teams including designers, project managers, service managers, and field leadership to ensure smooth sales-to-operations turnover Support service agreement opportunities and identify system improvement or upgrade needs Prepare and present value-based proposals, pricing, and scopes of work Track sales activity, forecasts, and performance against targets; provide regular reporting to management Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitive activity Participate in sales meetings, training, and professional development activities Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications What We Are Looking For: High School Diploma or GED 2-4 years of experience estimating and quoting fire sprinkler systems Working knowledge of NFPA standards and applicable codes Working knowledge of CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and estimating tools Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills Demonstrated negotiation and closing ability Ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Valid driver's license with willingness to travel within the assigned territory Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Desirable (but not required!)
