Fenceworks is currently seeking an inside sales representative with at least three years of sales experience. The sales rep is responsible for identifying and developing home builders and General Contractor relationships and expanding our presence in the market. Responsibilities
· Foster relationships with current home builders and General Contractor customers and new prospects.
· Generate prospects through Bid websites (e.g., Building Connected, Bid Mail).
· Obtain all required bid documents; including but not limited to site plans, fence specifications, and field measurements.
· Provide pricing based on specification and review with Sales Manager.
· Present proposal and follow up on bid within a timely manner to address or answer questions or comments.
· Maintain communication with superintendents and purchasing throughout job.
· Participate in sales meetings, training, trade shows, or other off-site functions as required
Qualifications:
· At least 2 years of Sales experience
· Ideal familiarity and experience in construction-related roles or the fencing industry.
· Must be able to prospect effectively and close sales
· Basic Microsoft Office skills
· Experience with CRM is a plus
· Familiarity with Building Connected and Bid Mail is a plus

Own the Outreach Engine: Design and execute strategic, multi-channel outbound campaigns (phone, email, LinkedIn, video) to initiate conversations with key decision-makers (C-Suite, VPs) at major healthcare systems.
Become a Qualification Expert: Rapidly research, identify, and deeply qualify new business opportunities to ensure high-quality pipeline development for our Account Executive team.
Conduct Pre-Call Intelligence: Move beyond generic calls by performing in-depth research on prospects and accounts to tailor your messaging and prove you've done your homework.
Drive Momentum & Insight: Utilize Salesforce daily to meticulously track progress, manage follow-up cadences, and provide critical market feedback to the leadership team.
Collaborate and Iterate: Work shoulder-to-shoulder with Account Executives and Sales Leadership to constantly test new strategies, refine messaging, and participate in role-playing sessions that will sharpen your technique.
Requirements

1. Introductory Call with Talent Acquisition (20-30 min): A quick chat to learn about your background, understand your career aspirations, and share detailed insight into the SDR role, team structure, and our high-performance culture.
2. Writing Assignment (Self-Paced, 1 hour): A short, practical exercise designed to assess your written communication and strategic research skills-both are critical components of high-level outbound sales. We do not expect you to spend more than an hour on this.
3. On-site Interview with Mock Call (1 hour): The final stage, where you'll meet the hiring manager and members of the sales team in our Santa Barbara office. SHP is seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team. The SDR will be responsible for generating qualified leads, conducting initial outreach to prospective clients, and supporting our sales organization in building a robust pipeline of opportunities within the post-acute care market. This is a part-time 20 hours per week in-office position, Monday - Friday, during regular business hours.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting through cold calling, email campaigns, and social selling to identify and qualify potential customers
* Research and identify target accounts within assigned market (SNF or Home-Based Care)
* Qualify inbound leads and marketing-generated inquiries based on established criteria
* Schedule qualified discovery meetings and product demonstrations for Account Executives

Pay:
Base Pay: $21.63 - $26.44 per hour, depending upon experience.
Commission Structure: Performance-based with on-target commissions of $20,000 - $40,000 annual.
All commissions are strictly performance-based earnings and are not guaranteed. Actual commission earnings will depend on your achievement of sales targets and other performance metrics as outlined by SHP.
